⛩ Akaza is a major antagonist in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a demon affiliated with the Twelve Kizuki, occupying the top rank three position. More than a century ago, Akaza was a human named Hakuji before being transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji.
Akaza is a strong, stubborn and impulsive demon who loves to fight, especially against strong demon killers. He despised anyone he deemed weak, but sincerely respected those who were strong in his eyes, regardless of race. Once he met someone he considered strong, he took an interest in him and even after his death remembered his name as a tribute to his strength.
