Top 10 Most Powerful Necromancers Who Could Defeat Sung Jinwoo!

Sung Jinwoo transformed into a necromancer in the last episode of the first season of Solo Leveling.

Since then, he has possessed the unique ability to resurrect his fallen enemies during battles, turning them into powerful Shadow Soldiers who accompany him and fight by his side with absolute loyalty.

Jinwoo has reached the rank of S-Rank Hunter, making him capable of defeating formidable creatures, including extremely powerful monsters and demons. However, even though he is exceptional, there are necromancers from other anime universes who could surpass him in combat. These opponents vary widely: some are humans endowed with dark powers, others are supernatural beings, and among them is even a true God.

A large number of these necromancers can neutralize Jinwoo's Shadows with their own armies of the undead, which significantly limits Jinwoo’s advantage and highlights the complexity of his superhuman abilities. Although the task may seem insurmountable, some opponents have the power to eliminate Jinwoo in an instant. Others, even without raw power, demonstrate enough tactical creativity to defeat him.

10. Bleach: Giselle Gewelle (TYBW) and her ability to incorporate Jinwoo into her zombie army

Despite an apparently harmless appearance, Giselle Gewelle is a formidable antagonist in the Thousand-Year Blood War arc of Bleach. Her unique power, called “The Zombie,” places her among the few Quincy capable of rivaling Jinwoo in combat. Indeed, as long as the Zombie remains active, Giselle is immortal, making her nearly impossible to eliminate. Once she sprays an enemy with her blood, they are transformed into zombies, fully subjected to her commands.

Giselle can convert other Quincy into zombies, but only if they are already deceased, formally qualifying her as a necromancer. To turn a character with Captain-level spiritual energy into a zombie requires a significant amount of blood, but Jinwoo, not having such spiritual energy, can be zombified with only a little blood. The Ten Commandments are considered the most powerful demons in the Seven Deadly Sins universe, just after the Demon King. Melascula, who holds the Commandment of Faith, can burn anyone expressing infidelity in her presence. She also masters the resurrection of the dead through the Awakening of the Vengeful Soul spell, but only if the victim harbors strong rage or emotion.

Normally, Melascula could poison Jinwoo with her demon poison, but thanks to the System, Jinwoo now has immunity to poisons. However, she can trap him in a dark and deadly sphere called the Dark Cocoon. This cocoon, seemingly indestructible except by divine force, is a cage where chaotic strength will eventually consume Jinwoo’s body and soul after about 30 minutes.

Orochimaru is one of the most terrifying villains in Naruto and one of the most powerful ninjas in the series. He masters hundreds of techniques, including the famous Reanimation. Using this forbidden technique, he resurrected the First and Second Hokage, controlling them with a special talisman. This technique requires a living sacrifice for each resurrection, making it extremely dangerous.

If Orochimaru resurrects multiple Kage-level ninjas, they will have unlimited chakra and near-total immortality, allowing them to exhaust Jinwoo’s mana and destroy his Shadows. Despite Jinwoo’s rising power, there is an enemy able to defeat him with a single word: Eucliwood Hellscythe. Beneath her fragile appearance, she holds a unique power that lets her alter reality at will by uttering words. She manipulates the thread of fate, granting absolute control over life and death with no apparent limits.

Eucliwood can resurrect anyone with a single word, but she can also kill instantly, simply by saying “die.” Jinwoo would then be completely powerless, as would his Shadows, which Eucliwood could simply “erase.” Although she can wear armor and wield a scythe, a direct fight against Jinwoo would be entirely unequal and hopeless.

2. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto from Bleach and his infernal Bankai

Captain-Commander Yamamoto, founder and leader of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, is recognized as the most powerful Shinigami in the Soul Society.
