Characteristics and Personality of Vegito

Vegito is a fascinating character who perfectly combines Vegeta’s indomitable pride and Goku’s bold optimism, making him both complex and charismatic. During his legendary fight against Super Buu, an extremely powerful enemy who absorbed Gohan, Vegito reveals a clever strategy. He toys with speed, outperforming that of his separate counterparts. However, behind this apparent arrogance lies a grand strategic plan. Vegito seeks to push Buu to his limits, and in doing so, forces the absorption of his own form to save his allies. This trick, typical of Goku’s fighting style, highlights his depth of thought and intelligence in battle.

Vegito’s physique is a true marvel. He sports a muscular, perfectly sculpted body, a direct inheritance from his two Saiyan origins. Vegito wears Vegeta’s characteristic gloves and boots, while his outfit is a modified version of Goku’s clothing. The colors are reversed compared to his counterpart’s costume, with blue pants and top, and an orange undershirt, paying homage to Goku’s legacy.

In the famous Majin Buu saga of Dragon Ball Z, Vegito appears when Goku and Vegeta use the Potara earrings to fuse. The goal of this fusion is to fight the ultimate form of Buu, an almost invincible enemy. During the battle, Vegito shows his superiority by confronting Buu with complete ease. However, he hides a more complex plan: to be absorbed by Buu to infiltrate his body and save his allies. Once absorbed, the fusion dissipates and Goku and Vegeta are separated.

Dragon Ball Super – Future Trunks Saga

In the Future Trunks saga of Dragon Ball Super, Vegito makes his grand return. In his Super Saiyan Blue form, he engages in a fierce battle against the dangerous Fused Zamasu. Unlike his previous fight against Majin Buu, this battle is much more intense. Fused Zamasu manages to hold his own against Vegito, but the latter remains a formidable opponent. The fusion abruptly ends after Goku and Vegeta overuse their powers, exceeding the fusion duration. This allows Trunks to take over and defeat Zamasu.

Kamehameha: The famous technique of Goku, where Vegito concentrates an immense amount of Ki into an energy sphere that he projects with devastating force.

Super Kamehameha: An enhanced version of the Kamehameha, even more powerful and faster, capable of destroying much stronger enemies.

Final Flash: A signature attack of Vegeta used by Vegito, consisting of concentrating a large amount of Ki in his hands to release a massive energy wave.

Spirit Sword: Vegito creates a Ki sword which he uses to slice his opponent with absolute precision.

Final Kamehameha: A fusion between the Final Flash and Super Kamehameha, an ultimate combined attack of the two most powerful techniques of Vegito.

Transformations of Vegito

Super Saiyan

In the manga adaptation, Vegito transforms directly into Super Saiyan, while in the anime he takes this form after warming up against Majin Buu, a transformation that considerably increases his power.

Super Saiyan 2

In Dragon Ball Heroes, Vegito reaches the Super Saiyan 2 form, a level where his speed and power are multiplied.

Super Saiyan 3

Also in Dragon Ball Heroes, Vegito appears in the Super Saiyan 3 form, a state where his hair grows even longer and he gains new devastating techniques, including the Spirit Excalibur.
