Don Quixote Rossinante, better known as Corazon, was an elite officer of the Don Quixote Family and the biological younger brother of Don Quixote Doflamingo. As such, Corazon was also a member of the World Nobility before becoming a pirate. He was also a Navy Commander on an undercover mission with his own brother's crew.

Apparence
Corazon appears for the first time in the flashback about him. He is very tall, a little shorter than Doflamingo. He wears, like his brother, a big coat with feathers except that his are black.
He wears sunglasses quite often, a burgundy cap with two hearts at the ends and a pale pink shirt with little darker hearts. He has blond hair with bangs up to his eyes, lipstick extending from the ends of his mouth to his cheeks, and wears blue/black star-shaped makeup under his right eye all the time.

Personality
Corazon is kind and benevolent to Trafalgar Law. He was his mentor but also his benefactor. To Doflamingo's crew, he was considered mute, because of a shock he would have suffered in the past. We learn later that he is actually able to speak. According to Diamante, he hates children, but in reality, his apparent brutality towards them is a way to keep them away from piracy. Despite this, a relationship develops between him and Law.
He is also very clumsy, he admits it is his nature, and is sorely lacking in attention to the point of setting himself on fire on many occasions.
Skills and Competencies
For being born into the Don Quixote Family, Corazon was a World Noble, granting him political rights and privileges, allowing him to do almost anything he pleased, as well as unlimited wealth and the ability to summon a Navy Admiral. When his family left Marie-Joie and became pirates, he lost these privileges and became a criminal in the eyes of the world. As a former elite officer of Don Quixote Doflamingo's Crew occupying the Siege of the Heart, Corazon was undoubtedly a powerful fighter to have achieved such rank. In fact, he is strong enough to destroy hospitals on his own.
He was second in command to many of the other officers and soldiers on the crew, alongside the other elite officers. He is also an undercover Navy commander in his brother's crew. His level of espionage is immense because thanks to his demon fruit, he can surprise his opponents.
We see him in a flashback where he easily defeats Baby 5 and Buffalo. A few seconds after that, we will also see him knocking down Trafalgar Law.
As Diamante says, despite the fact that Corazon was a clumsy person and cruelly lacking in attention, he possessed an extraordinary talent, surely due to his ancestry.
Moreover, Rossinante was a commander of the Navy, which testifies of the potential he could have, potential recognized in particular by Sengoku. He could therefore exercise an authority over lesser ranked marines. However, he will be beaten by Vergo, after having stolen the Ope Ope no Mi and having been wounded by bullet during his escape. Despite this, he is very resilient because even after taking Vergo's overpowering attacks, he could still move, even though he was almost knocked out.
Fruit of the Demon
Rossinante ate the Nagi Nagi no Mi, a Paramecia Demon Fruit that gives him the ability to create invisible soundproof spaces. Someone inside the field cannot hear sounds from outside and vice versa. As a double agent, this power comes in quite handy. Law finds this fruit "lousy" and says he still prefers Baby 5's.
Indeed, thanks to this fruit, Rossinante was able to deceive Doflamingo by making him believe that he was dumb and to be protected from suspicion for a long time. To exchange easily with his contact or for infiltration missions, this power brings him all the necessary conditions to succeed in his tasks.

History
Past
Rossinante was the biological younger brother of Don Quixote Doflamingo and was therefore a World Noble, just like him. When their father decided to leave Marie-Joie, they began to lead a miserable life. The brothers lost their mother as children, and two years later, Doflamingo killed their father. The brothers were eventually stripped of their Celestial Dragon status.
Rossinante then moved away from Doflamingo at the age of 8, after his father's murder. It is during this period that he met Sengoku of the Navy. It is also during this period that Rosinante suffered a shock which would have made him mute... He then returned to Doflamingo at the age of 14. They then became pirates, with Doflamingo as captain and Rossinante (now Corazon) serving as an elite agent alongside Trebol, Pica, Diamante and Vergo. At the time of his first meeting with Law, all seemed to go badly: Corazon seemed to hate the children and threw Law, still child then, through a window (in the objective to move away him from Doflamingo)... Law had a great respect towards this one afterwards. Thirteen years ago, he was killed by Doflamingo in an incident following his betrayal and the theft of the Ope Ope no mi. It is since this day that Law wanted to take revenge on Doflamingo.
Legacy
Doflamingo had reserved the now vacant Seat of the Heart for Trafalgar Law, whom he considered his younger brother. However, since Law could not forgive Doflamingo for the murder of Corazon, he resigned, and the seat remained vacant. Law went to great lengths to avenge "Cora", going so far as to form an alliance with Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, using them until he no longer needed them. His plan was to pit Kaido against Doflamingo with the help of the Mugiwara, hoping that the Yonko would eliminate him.
Relations
Don Quichotte Doflamingo
"I am Commander Rossinante of the Navy...known by the code name MC-01746.
Doflamingo, captain of the Don Quixote crew, I have infiltrated your crew in order to stop the tragedy you are about to commit."
- Corazon to Doflamingo
Corazon is Doflamingo's younger brother. He was even an elite officer in Don Quixote Doflamingo's Crew, occupying the Seat of Heart, ensuring his role as an undercover agent within his brother's crew. Rossinante's goal was always to stop Doflamingo, calling him "an abject cruelty".
Doflamingo murders him after discovering his betrayal.
Trafalgar Law
Corazon was the person Law cherished the most. Upon learning that Law was a "D" carrier, he sailed the seas for 6 months in an attempt to cure his disease, Law being at the time suffering from lead poisoning (a deadly disease supposedly incurable). During their voyage, Corazon and Law developed a complicity, so much so that Law ended up calling Corazon "Cora-san".Corazon stole the Ope Ope No Mi to save him (by forcing it down his throat), but later died sacrificing himself so that Law could live in peace. Law suffered greatly from his death and vowed to fulfill his wish by taking down Doflamingo.
Behind Law's jacket, the name "Corazon" can be seen above the Jolly Roger of the Heart Crew.

Trivia
- Corazón is the Spanish word for "heart," which corresponds to the seat Rossinante occupied in the organization.
- Trafalgar Law's Heart Crew may have been named in tribute to Rossinante. Like his heart tattoos and his jolly roger which looks suspiciously like Doflamingo's, so it could be Rossinante's.
- His face looks a lot like the Joker's in Batman, especially the version from The Dark Knight played by Heath Ledger.
- He likes lettuce, cabbage and salted plums but hates bread and pizza.
- The back of Trafalgar Law's jacket has "Corazon" written on it, in tribute to Rossinante.
- The tattoo under his eye could be inspired by Alex DeLarge, the protagonist of Clockwork Orange.
- The makeup under his eyes and the lipstick on his mouth could be reminiscent of Eric Draven, protagonist of the movie The Crow.
- He wears a jacket made of black feathers, perhaps of raven. The raven is, in superstitions, a bird that brings bad luck, and Corazon is often seen committing blunders (stumbles, catches fire etc.).
- In Spanish, Rocín means "horse of low rank", but also "illiterate and boorish man". This name could be explained by the fact that he does not have the same vision of things as the other Tenryuubito.
- His name is a reference to the horse of Don Quixote, in the novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra.
- Rossinante uses as a code name "Cake" (aperitif in the vf) when he comes into contact with the Navy.
- The relationship between Law and Rossinante can be very much like a father/son relationship.
- His code name is 01746 and read backwards, we get 6, 4, 7, 10, that is to say in Japanese: Ro, Shi, Na, Ten: Rossinante.
- Rossinante originally wanted to prevent Doflamingo from attacking the kingdom of Dressrosa.
- Rossinante is the only known nobleman to have joined the Navy.
- Rossinante died at the age of 26. If he were alive, he would be 39 years old because he was two years younger than Doflamingo.
- It seems that Rossinante inherited the human side from his father, unlike his brother Doflamingo.
- Rossinante died smiling as a carrier of the D's will.
- In the 5th fan poll, Rossinante ranked 52nd.
- Rosinante ranked 16th in the sixth poll.
- The SBS Volume 79 gives him the height of 2m93, which is close to his brother who is 3m05. The databook Vivre Card gives him however the height of 4m35, which contradicts the height reports seen in the manga.
- Rossinante has two earrings like Law.
- Originally, Rossinante and Doflamingo were not intended to share any blood ties and they were simply to be two strangers to each other.
- His Vivre Card says he bid farewell to Law with a "smile" from the bottom of his heart.
- His original design had him wearing a top hat, which made him look more like the main character in Clockwork Orange.
