Satoru Gojo is one of the main protagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a special level jujutsu wizard and a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Apparence
Satoru Gojo is a tall man, dominating his students, and is considered very attractive by many people. He has white hair that is often pitted, but Gojo lets it down when he is in more casual attire. Gojo has bright blue eyes, but they are usually covered with his signature black headband or a pair of dark sunglasses.
While working, Gojo wears an all-black high collar jacket with matching pants and dark boots. In the past, Gojo has worn blindfolds rather than his simple blindfold. He has several different casual outfits that usually include long sleeve shirts and pants. He even wears long-sleeved hoodies to the beach with black swimsuits.

Personality
Satoru is a complex individual. He is normally perceived as nonchalant and playful towards his students, close colleagues and friends. However, he is unsympathetic and cruel to the wizarding leaders, an example being his blatant disrespect for the main Gakuganjiet his enemies.
Satoru is extremely confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful wizard, believing himself to be invincible. His opinion of others often goes only as far as his judgment of their strength, and he is quite apathetic towards anyone he deems weak. Furthermore, greatly influenced by his own desire for power, he is very arrogant. He is convinced that he is the strongest in the world, which he technically is, stating in his fight against Toji Fushiguro that "in all the heavens and earth, he alone is the honored one". This can be further illustrated when he was charged with protecting Riko Amanai, one of the few "weak" people for whom he really grew to show compassion. However, any empathy from her death was quickly negated by his large amount of pride and arrogance after he perfected his cursed reverse technique in his next battle against Toji Fushiguro.
During intense battles, Satoru is seen occasionally falling into a frenzied state of combat, driven by his determination for victory and the undeniable proof that he alone is the strongest. His fighting style is characterized by his aggressive and dominating attacks, while displaying his mastered techniques to his opponents. Moreover, in case of crisis, he is able to be cold-blooded. He will prioritize the destruction of his enemies over the rescue of innocent people when he believes that sacrifice is inevitable. However, this only extends to those killed by his opponent; he will not do any lasting harm or kill anyone innocent to gain the upper hand.
Nevertheless, despite his arrogance and strength, Satoru is more human than he appears. After defeating Toji, Satoru picked up Riko's corpse with a sad look on his face, showing that although his recent vanity victory temporarily clouded his feelings, he still felt some sorrow over her death. He sought to kill the Star Religious members who were laughing at Riko's death, but was stopped by Suguru Geto - whom he was relying on as his moral compass at the time - before taking action. Furthermore, Satoru was then visibly horrified and panicked after learning that Suguru, his one and only best friend, had become a murderous curse user. Satoru tried to reason with his friend, but finally realized and accepted that he had lost the only person he truly considered an equal. After having to put an end to Suguru before other calamities occurred, it was Satoru's trauma after losing his best friend that caused his ultimate downfall in Shibuya. He was also distraught when Yuji apparently died.
Satoru's end is to reform the world of jujutsu from the bottom up through education. He seeks to foster a new generation of wizards who he hopes will one day become his equals.

Capabilities and powers
Overall Skill Level: Even among special-level wizards, Satoru is known to be the strongest wizard in the series, holding both immense amounts of cursed energy and dangerously powerful technique.As students, both Satoru and Suguru were considered "the strongest", capable of making short work of experienced and powerful curse users. After realizing and perfecting his abilities, Satoru's abilities increased dramatically until he was able to put Toji Fushiguro on the defensive and eventually kill him with his most powerful technique, whereas before he and Geto were no match for the notorious wizard killer. As he continued to grow, he eclipsed Suguru's power where Suguru admitted that Satoru really became the strongest alone. Suguru also stated that Satoru had the ability to kill all of humanity by himself, which Suguru admitted was beyond his own abilities, and did not even try to defend himself when Satoru prepared to kill him, although Satoru eventually gave in because he was unable to kill his former friend.
In the present, Satoru's power was feared by the high officials of the jujutsu society, where Satoru could easily force them to undo the executions of people like the dangerous special grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu and Sukuna's vessel Yuji Itadori, and he states that it would be easy for him to kill all of them and overthrow the jujutsu society if he truly wanted to. Satoru even claimed that he could defeat Sukuna at his full strength.
Kenjaku and his group of special quality cursed spirits were also wary of Satoru's power and skills, with Kenjaku admitting that he could not defeat Gojo in direct battle. He was able to overpower and kill Jogo, who was the strongest of the group, and just his presence was able to force Hanami to retreat, with Gojo almost killing the special quality cursed spirit with one attack. When Kenjaku and his group finally developed a plan to face him in battle, despite their preparations, Satoru was still able to easily fend off their assaults and overpower them, leaving them stunned at how superior his abilities really were, killing Hanami and only being defeated because Kenjaku used his past with Geto to distract him long enough for the prison realm to seal him away.
Master Hand-to-Hand Fighter: Satoru, in addition to his overwhelming levels of cursed energy, is also an incredibly formidable martial artist in close combat, with extraordinary physical prowess to back up his skills. He was able to completely dominate Jogo in hand-to-hand combat, launch several precise attacks on Jogo's fatal points, and could even casually fight and dominate Jogo and Hanami with pure close combat, easily thwarting their attacks and landing powerful blows that quickly pushed them into submission.
Tremendous strength: Satoru possesses enormous physical strength to fight powerful curses with ease, easily causing Jogo severe injuries with powerful punches and launching him a considerable distance with a single kick during their fight. He was also able to easily tear off Jogo's head and later his arm with sheer physical strength and even managed to casually tear off Hanamia's roots. He could casually rip the transfigured humans apart, tearing them limb from limb.
Immense Speed & Reflexes: Satoru is an extremely fast fighter, able to move faster than the eye could perceive. He was able to easily outrun Jogo, throwing almost imperceptible punches and kicks. Satoru can also eliminate a thousand transfigured humans in five minutes.

Tactical Intellect: Gojo is quite tactical and able to figure out his opponent's plan with minimal information. He has also shown himself to be extremely adaptable to all the enemies he has faced so far, knowing precisely what to do to counter their techniques and find ways to defeat them. This is best demonstrated in his fight against Jogo, Hanami, Choso and Mahito where he was shown to be able to devise multiple battle strategies while fighting at blinding speeds, protecting civilians, keeping property damage to a minimum, while dodging and evading the attacks of the four curses.
Immense Cursed Energy: Satoru Gojo is known within the jujutsu society as the strongest jujutsu wizard. He earned this nickname because of the immense amounts of cursed energy he possesses. Gojo's cursed energy is large enough to use a domain extension several times a day. In contrast, most wizards can only use it once.
He has excellent control over his cursed energy, able to activate his Domain in a split second, use reverse cursed techniques and even combine positive and negative cursed energy. Gojo is also known for having two global abilities, being the first in four hundred years to have both the Six Eyes and the unlimited cursed technique of the Gojo family.
