Because she grew up without her father's presence, Sarada first tries to understand who she is or what she is supposed to be. After meeting him with the help of Naruto Uzumaki, Sarada learns that she is defined by the connections she has with others and as a member of Team Konohamaru, she seeks to one day become Hokage so that she can connect with as many people as possible.
Personality
Sarada seems to have inherited the character traits of both her parents, from her mother her impulsiveness, and from her father her slightly haughty character. We notice in the anime, that she doesn't get along very well with Boruto, they always bicker, but in reality, she seems to often think about him, about his way of doing things, she observes him a lot. After the events that lead her to meet her father with Naruto, Sarada developed a deep respect for the Hokage, and even wishes to become him in her turn.
Apparence
Sarada is a young girl with light skin. She has black hair going down to her shoulders that she inherited from her father, just like her black eyes. She wears a pair of red glasses that was given to her by Karin. At the Academy, she wore a civilian outfit which consisted of a short pink dress with high heeled boots and a yellow scarf tied around her neck. After Naruto Gaiden, she changed her outfit, and was now dressed as a ninja, her outfit consists of a dark pink kimono, long purple gloves, light purple shorts, purple tights, on her right thigh is hung her bag for her ninja gear, and finally basic black ninja sandals.
Skills
Inheriting her father's prodigious talent, to the point of being compared to him at his peak, and her mother's intelligence, Sarada was evaluated at third place in her academy class, her teachers stating that she would easily pass the Genin Examination, and that she had what it takes to fulfill her dream of becoming Hokage. As a kunoichi of the Uchiwa clan, she is considered an elite genin who excels at everything, being able to make it to the final round of the Chûnin Exam and being judged to have Chûnin-level leadership and combat analysis skills by the higher-ups. By gaining more practice with her Sharingan, she is able to defeat experienced shinobi such as Buntan Kurosuki, Ashimaru and Kirara.
Chakra and physical prowess
As an Uchiwa, Sarada possesses powerful chakra. Sarada inherited her mother's advanced control over her chakra. Even before graduating from the academy, she was able to collect chakra in her fists and release it upon contact with a target to devastating effect, such as breaking the ground or sending an opponent flying away. However, her reserves seem to be low, as she almost fainted due to the overuse of her Sharingan during a fight against Chôchô. In the fight against the New Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Sarada was able to use her Sharingan for a longer period of time.
Ninjutsu
Sarada is a master of ninjutsu. Like many Uchiwa, Sarada has an affinity for ninja weapons and her specialty is shurikenjutsu, for which she received top marks in class. Thanks to her skills, she is able to throw her weapons quickly and accurately, even being able to precisely deflect a projectile with one of her own thrown kunai. She also showed the same skills even without vision, training with her eyes closed, she was able to hit the center of six targets without difficulty. With the help of Medical Ninjutsu, she can concentrate her chakra to restart the cardiovascular system of a person. In the anime, she is able to perform effective Cooperation Ninjutsu and Fûinjutsu, capable of both restricting a person's movements and increasing their power with other users.
Nature of chakra
She can use Katon, Raiton and Inton, being able to infuse the latter into a Fuma Shuriken to disorient or stun an opponent. After copying Buntan's abilities, Sarada was able to create orbs, flows, and even a protective armor made of lightning. She also showed that she could use the Uchiwa clan's coming-of-age technique, Katon - Supreme Fireball, taught by her father, although originally she could only use it if the opponent came close to her.
Sharingan
Sarada awakened her Sharingan to a single tomoe in each eye at the age of 11, thanks to the excitement of seeing her father after many years. Having just awakened it, she quickly adapted to her heightened visual perception, being able to react effectively and anticipate threats more easily and see threads of chakra. Using it, she can perform genjutsu effectively, and dispel them. When witnessing the execution of a technique, Sarada can copy the mudra of the enemies to execute them simultaneously with the original user. Shortly after participating in the Chûnin Examinations, she awakened her Sharingan three tomoe. In the anime, she awakened her two-tomoe Sharingan in her second fight against Deepa during a mission in the Land of Valleys.
New era
Entrance arch of the Academy
In the anime, on the day of the Academy entrance ceremony, Sarada is shown about to listen to Naruto's speech. However, she and everyone else at the event were annoyed when Boruto smashed a train into Naruto's stone face. After that, she started to hang out with Chocho, but she started to ignore Boruto as she walked past him. Two weeks later, after Boruto's suspension ended and he finally rejoined the class, he continued to make a spectacle of himself. When Chocho noted that Sarada was particularly close to Boruto because of their respective parents, Sarada expressed her aversion to being considered a close friend simply because of their parents. Later, Boruto had a confrontation with the top student in the class, Iwabee Yuino. As the two students began to argue about what it means to be shinobi, they decided to skip class to settle things in battle. Sarada joined the rest of the class to watch the fight in a training arena. In the end, Boruto and Inojin's respective words resonated with Iwabee, ending the fight. Despite the pleasant ending, Sarada and the rest of the class were later fiercely reprimanded by their sensei Anko Mitarashi for skipping class.
During a class introducing the students to the summoning technique, seeing Boruto's continuous antics to show, Sarada scolded him for his foolishness. This triggered an argument between all the boys and girls. Later, during their lunch break, Sarada started fighting with Boruto over who would get the last yakisoba bun. Shino appeared, insisting that the boys and girls settle things with a game of capture the flag. The challenge quickly heated up, with many boys being pulled out of the contest until only Boruto, Shikidai and Inojin were left on their team. Desperate, Boruto found a summoning scroll and miraculously summoned a snake-like creature. The creature went on a rampage, attacking the students and throwing Chocho off the roof, to which Sarada helped Boruto save her. After the creature was subdued by the timely arrival of Konohamaru, the contest ended with the girls getting the flag. Despite their victory, the girls made peace with the boys.
Later, the class gained a new transfer student from Hidden Sound named Mitsuki. While many of the girls thought Mitsuki was very handsome, Sarada sighed in disgust for judging someone solely on their appearance. The next day, wanting the students to warm up to Mitsuki, Shino threw a welcome party for the new student. When Shino's efforts at the party backfired on his bugs, the class began to panic, with Denki begging someone to make the bugs disappear, which Mitsuki did with her wind techniques, causing even more damage to the Academy. Suddenly, one of the repairmen went on a rampage, destroying the Academy. Sarada joined her friends to stop him. While Sarada distracted him, Shikadai paralyzed him. Despite the initial success, the man quickly recovered and continued his rampage. Eventually,
Later, Sumire realizes that she is being stalked. Eventually, Sarada and her friends discover that she is Magire, a shy student from a different class. The boy, having a crush on Sumire, asks her out, which Sumire refuses - surprised, leaving him distraught and running away in shame. The next day, various frightening messages are left for Sumire. While Sarada and the others decide to watch over her, they are systematically separated from Sumire. Finally, the author reveals himself to be a possessed Magire, who kidnaps Sumire. Chocho and the others soon find them, where Magire quickly attacks them with his concealment skills. Eventually, Chocho is able to reach Magire, noting that such an indecisive nature will never win anyone over. Accepting his evil ways to try and make Sumire like him, the specter was rejected by Magire. As Magire began to apologize for his actions, he fainted, resulting from a severe loss of chakra caused by his possession. The group then quickly took him to the hospital.
Later, after returning from a night training session, Sarada ran into Boruto. While the two were discussing the questioning of the famous movie star Kagemasa's career, Boruto suddenly turned his attention to a mysterious stranger. He noticed that the person had a dark aura around him and decided to investigate. Sarada quickly followed, saving Boruto from the stranger's attack. She was shocked to see that it was Kagemasa, and even more surprised that the celebrity had become very fat. Frustrated that his movie series was going to be cancelled due to his increased weight and poor diet, Kagemasa continued his assault on the students. As Boruto explained the situation, even though she didn't fully believe the story, she believed that Boruto wasn't lying. Following Boruto's plan, Sarada launched a shuriken assault on Kagemasa. Knowing that the movie star would dodge, Boruto disguised himself as one of the shurikens, letting it get close enough to stun Kagemasa, purging the specter.
Later, the class was assigned by Shino to split into groups of three and each follow a different location for a few days to better understand the lives of the non-shinobi. Chocho convinced Sarada to visit both the nail salon and the bakery. Upon hearing that some of her friends had been in an accident and were sent to the hospital, Sarada went to see them. After being relieved that they were okay, Sarada decided to leave, dragging the noisy Boruto before he could disturb the patients.
Sarada is seen after running an obstacle course in groups of three. However, Shino fails all the students, as the few who finish the course did so leaving their teammates behind. Konohamaru and Moegi tell the students that they will occasionally drop in to see who fights under their command, and encourage them to see which formations work best.
Several weeks later, Shino decided to switch the three-man teams in his class for an exercise to determine which pairing would prove optimal after graduation. During the challenge between the teams, Shino was called aside to discuss Sumire, who was still absent. Shino left Sarada in charge of writing down the match results. As everyone discussed the rumor that Sumire was going to transfer to a new school, they were thrilled to learn that Sumire had indeed returned to their class.
Shino teaches the students how to walk on water, even stirring the water to simulate river and ocean currents. Later, Sarada comes home with some groceries and sees Boruto, Inojin, Shikadai and Denki jumping off a train. They invite her to accompany them to teach Denki how to fish. She refuses, as she has to prepare the dinner, and reprimands them for having gone up on the train. At home, Sarada prepares the soup when Sakura arrives. The next day, Sarada gives Sakura her vacation travel schedule as she finishes packing. Sakura asks if Sarada wants her to bring anything, but Sarada tells her not to waste her money. Sakura notices that a teddy bear that was supposed to have been picked up for one of her patients is still there. Since she doesn't have time to deliver it, Sarada offers to take it. At the train, Sarada is distracted while reading a note from her mother, and forgets the teddy bear on the train when she gets off. Although she is desperate to catch the train, Sarada is mortified at the thought of jumping over the rooftops like Boruto.Shizune spots her, the two exchange words, and Sarada leaves. Meanwhile, the boys fail to catch any fish and Boruto decides to find a better fishing spot. Sarada rushes to the next station, but has to help an old lady buy her ticket and misses it. Sarada jumps on the train before it leaves and is surprised to see that she likes it. Shikadai spots her for a moment and she hides. Curious, Shikadai informs the others of what he thinks he saw. Sarada hides from the boys, but they find her footprints. Sarada narrowly avoids them and jumps off the train. sees her, and Sarada begs her not to tell anyone. Chōchō takes her to the lost and found, where she retrieves a package, but they discover that it is not the same package, despite similar packaging, and that the other package has already been claimed. Chōchō takes it to a market where they sell products from other villages and asks a shopkeeper to identify the doll they have as a Takigakure doll, which they send down the river in a ceremony for their ancestors. As payment, Chōchō gives up rare flavored chips from his personal stash. As part of their journey, takes Sakura to where she had her first date with Sasuke. Chōchō and Sarada arrive at the location of the ceremony, but her package has already been put in the river. They return the package they retrieved and Sarada shakily walks down the river to retrieve hers. The boys arrive to try fishing in the river, distracting Sarada, who throws the package to Chōchō before falling into the river. She emerges where the boys are fishing and pretends to have gone swimming, intimidating them. Sarada delivers the teddy bear and goes out to eat with Chōchō. When Sakura returns home, Sarada offers her soup, but having learned from her misadventure, tells her mother that she has deviated from her usual recipe.
Sarada Uchiwa Bow
As graduation from the academy approaches, Sarada's classmates are all training with their fathers to help them prepare for their final exams. Sarada becomes jealous of the time everyone is spending with her father and goes home to ask Sakura about her own father, Sasuke. When Sakura has trouble answering a question as simple as if Sasuke wore glasses as Sarada does, Sarada asks if Sakura and Sasuke are even married. Sakura destroys their house in a fit of frustration, then faints when she realizes what she has done. After leaving Sakura with Shizune, Sarada scours the rubble of their home for sentimental effects. In doing so, she discovers that what she thought was a photo of her parents together is actually two separate photos; at Sasuke's house, a woman with similar glasses to Sarada's.
Suspicious of Karin, Sarada asks Shizune about the details of her birth; who was there and when and where. Shizune is unable to answer her questions, so she seeks out her friend and classmate, Chocho Akimichi, for comfort. Chōchō shares her own suspicions that Karui and Choji are not her real father and mother and that she wants to go in search of her real parents. Sarada finds Chōchō's suspicions unfounded, but it nevertheless gives her the idea to go and find Sasuke so that she can ask him her persistent questions directly. She goes to see Naruto, the seventh Hokage, but outside his office, she overhears that he is considering meeting with Sasuke anyway. She begins to follow Naruto as he prepares to leave the village, Chōchō accompanying him, believing that they are looking for his parents and not Sarada's. As they' As she is about to follow Naruto out of Konoha, Sarada notices Boruto arriving late to deliver a lunch to his father. Sarada offers to deliver it to him, which will be her excuse to follow Naruto.
As she and Chōchō hurry to catch up with Naruto, they are confronted by a boy with Sharingan named Shin Uchiha. Sarada is surprised by him, having learned that there were no other Uchiha, and so refuses Shin's request to accompany him. He attacks them. Although Sarada and Chōchō do a good job of defending themselves, Naruto intervenes, having sensed that they were following him. Naruto easily blocks all of Shin's attacks, forcing him to retreat. Although he would prefer to send Sarada and Chōchō back to Konoha, Naruto decides that it would be safer for them to come with him. As Naruto eats Boruto's lunch, he asks Sarada if she is looking forward to seeing Sasuke. She admits that she has no memory of him and asks Naruto to tell her about him. He complies, explaining that, although she looks a lot like Sasuke, Sarada's personality is more like Sakura's. Sarada is happy to hear this, and as they approach the meeting point with Sasuke, Sarada runs ahead to meet him; her desire to see him is so strong that it awakens her Sharingan. When Sasuke sees her, however, he assumes that she is one of Shin's cohorts and uses his sword to threaten her with information.
Sasuke realizes his mistake when Sarada calls him "daddy", at which point he turns on Naruto, berating him for bringing her. Sarada defends Naruto, saying that she came without his permission because she wanted to ask Sasuke if Sakura is really his mother. Sasuke ignores her question and refuses to say why he has been absent from her life for so long. Sarada cries at her indifference and storms out. Naruto follows her and tries to comfort her, but they are interrupted by another attack from Shin and his father, who is also called Shin Uchiha . Naruto defends Sarada while Sasuke attacks Shin, but Naruto is quickly incapacitated after being stabbed by a sword and Sasuke is forced to protect Sarada with his own body. Before Shin's father can finish them off as he intends, Sakura appears and wounds him badly with her punch. Shin escapes with his son using a creature and takes Sakura with him. Unable to pursue him, Naruto and Sasuke take Sarada and Chōchō to Orochimaru's hideout to see if he knows anything about Shin and his location.
As Orochimaru explains that Shin is one of his experiments gone wrong and that his "sons" are in fact his clones, Sarada pulls Suigetsu Hozuki aside, whom she recognizes from the Taka team photo. She shares her belief that Karin is his mother, which Suigetsu is unable to confirm or deny despite his surprise at thinking of such a scenario. They go through Karin's belongings and find Sarada and Sakura's umbilical cord, which Suigetsu says is from Karin's birth. They compare her DNA with Sarada's and find that there is a perfect match, which initially seems to prove that Karin is Sarada's mother. Suigetsu becomes uncomfortable and leaves; Naruto, who was listening, enters after him to remind Sarada that they must save Sakura. Sarada refuses, declaring that she doesn't owe Sakura anything if she is not really her mother, especially if she lied to Sarada about it all her life.
Sarada accuses Naruto of being part of the plot to lie to her. Naruto doesn't really know what the truth is, but he objects to what she says about the family. He, as Hokage, considers every villager of Konoha, even if they have no genetic link, as part of his family and he wants to protect them. In the same way, even if Sarada and Sakura had not been related by blood, they would have been part of the family because of their history together and their feelings for each other. Sarada remembers all the times in her life when Sakura was there for her and how she always tried to make Sarada happy. Sarada cries at this reminder that she and Sakura love each other and decides that she wants to help save her. They find Sasuke, who transports them and Chōchō to the dimension where Shin took Sakura.
When they arrive at Shin's lair, they find Sakura already in a fight with Shin. After being protected by her husband who crushed Shin with his Susanoo, Sakura regroups with them. Sarada looks happily at her parents as Sasuke tries to help his wife up, realizing that Sasuke cares about Sakura. Shin is fatally stabbed by several of his clones. He tries to escape using a Sharingan spy creature, but Sarada crushes the creature before she can take him away and Shin dies from his injuries. Shin's clones then start to attack, several dozen of which Sarada beats at once with her chakra-enhanced strength, which surprises everyone except Sasuke, who smiles proudly at his daughter. Naruto clones them to surrender, giving Sarada a chance to talk to her parents. Sakura hugs Sarada, reassuring her that she is really her biological mother, and Sarada apologizes for doubting her and tells her that all that matters is that their feelings are connected. Sarada then expresses his concern for Sasuke's relationship with Sakura due to her long absences, but he explains that she, as his daughter, is proof enough of their strong bond. Sarada cries with happiness after hearing this.
Sasuke spent time with Sarada and Sakura in Konoha, even posing for their first family photo. After a while, Sasuke was about to leave again and hugged his daughter as she sadly asked him when he would be back. Sasuke told Sarada not to make such a face and gave her a slap on the forehead, promising to come home soon, which made her very happy. Sakura gives him a sack lunch and hopes for a kiss in return, but he leaves without further comment, only smirking in amusement as he walks away. Later, in class at the Academy, Boruto thanks Sarada for delivering the lunch to his father. Sarada insists that she should thank him instead, because it was because she delivered that lunch to Naruto that she decided that her dream in life was to become a Hokage.
Bow versus Momoshiki
After graduating and becoming a genin, Sarada teams up with Boruto and Mitsuki under the leadership of Konohamaru Sarutobi. While their team is on a mission to capture an animal that has attacked a local farm, Sarada tries in vain to convince his teammates that the animal is not a panda as they believe, but just a normal bear that looks like a panda. The bear/panda is nevertheless captured and they report their successful mission to Naruto. Boruto ends up arguing with Naruto and storms out before he can be informed of their invitation to join the Chūnin exams... Sarada and Mitsuki then meet up with Boruto to talk to him about it, but he's not interested, even when told that they can't enter without him. Sarada gets angry with him, accusing him of interfering with her dream of becoming Hokage. He mocks her, telling her that being Hokage means disappointing everyone around her. Naruto will watch the performance of the finalists which will make Boruto agree. In preparation for the Chunin exams, Boruto trains with Sasuke who briefly returned to Konoha. When Sasuke doesn't seem to appreciate the hard work Boruto puts into learning the Rasengan, Sarada informs Sasuke of how rare it is for Boruto to do any work at all. Sasuke replies that he didn't I intend to sound critical of Boruto and thinks that he is doing a good job. On the day of the first step of the exams, Sakura accompanies Sarada and wishes him good luck. Before leaving, Sarada teases Sakura about how happy she is now that Sasuke is back, which Sakura blushes at.
For the first stage, the competing teams are given a true or false question about the fifth volume of a particular book. Boruto and Mitsuki look to Sarada for the answer, but she doesn't know, not having known that there was even a fifth volume of that book. They select true, and for their answer, they are thrown into a pit. Boruto assumes they have failed and makes no attempt to stop himself from falling, forcing Sarada and Mitsuki to catch him and themselves. Because of their determination not to give up, their team moves on to the second stage. In the second stage a few days later, the teams compete in games of capture the flag. Sarada and Mitsuki go out to capture the other team's flag while Boruto defends theirs. When they reach the flag, they find that there are several hundred genjutsu with his Sharingan to locate the real flag and capture it.
For the final round matches, the remaining participants compete in a series of head-to-head matches in front of a packed stadium crowd. In his first match, Sarada defeats Tarui with a single punch, which Sakura cheers loudly from the crowd and embarrasses Sarada. Immediately after Boruto is caught cheating in his own match, the stadium is attacked by Kinshiki and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki.. As Sarada helps the spectators evacuate, a piece of debris almost falls on her, though she is saved by Sasuke. Sasuke takes Sarada to where Naruto and Boruto are so that he and Naruto can combine their efforts to protect their children, but Momoshiki is too strong. Naruto asks Sasuke to focus on protecting Boruto and Sarada while he fights Momoshiki and Kinshiki alone. Boruto passes out while they are watching the fight, and when he wakes up in the hospital later, Sarada informs him that Naruto has been captured.
Boruto joins a team organized by Sasuke to rescue Naruto, and before leaving, he asks Sarada and Mitsuki to take care of everyone while he's gone. Naruto is finally saved and life in Konoha returns to normal. While their team is on a mission to take back the same bear/panda from before, Sarada scolds Boruto for cheating on the Chūnin exams, for which he apologizes. She asks if he plans to take over from his father by becoming Hokage, to which he replies that he'd rather be like his own father, being his right-hand man when she becomes Hokage herself. After the capture of the bear/panda, Mitsuki notes that, as amazing as Sarada and Boruto's parents are, they don't compare to her own parent, Orochimaru. Having met Orochimaru before and being confused at the time, Sarada asks if Orochimaru is Mitsuki's mother or father,
Mitsuki/Ohnoki Arc
In the anime, during another Kage Summit in Konoha, Sarada and his teammates met Ōnoki. After offering the man a tour of the village, Ōnoki gave the genin the answer to a riddle that Naruto had once placed on the hardest stone. Ōnoki revealed that it was a riddle that he had once given to Naruto and that the answer lies at the core of his being, that he must keep his heart strong to endure all obstacles. Later, all missions were suspended during an investigation of an attack on two gate guards. When Mitsuki didn't show up, Boruto and Sarada questioned Konohamaru about it. As it became clear that he was hiding something, the two genin decided to spy on the Seventh Hokage meeting, during which they learned that Mitsuki had left the village after attacking the shinobi of Konoha, as well as Orochimaru being Mitsuki's father. In the end, the Hokage's peers considered Mitsuki a traitor. While Sarada decided that they should follow orders and stay put, Boruto, who refused to believe that his friend was a traitor, noted that Sarada's goal of becoming Hokage was meaningless if she had no loyalty to her friends. The next night, when Boruto found Mitsuki's snake with a recorded message on it, the two decided to go to Orochimaru for answers.
Upon arriving outside of Orochimaru's research lab, to lure the Kononha jōnin stationed there, Sarada transformed into Mitsuki, to act as a distraction while Boruto snuck inside. While successfully luring the shinobi, Sarada was trapped by the jōnin, leading Karin to rescue her to Sarada's surprise. While regrouping with Boruto in the lab, Sarada learned that Mitsuki was one of many clones. Since Orochimaru was unable to discover any clues from the snake, he informed the genin that it was possible to extract information about Mitsuki from the snake' s memory if the pair brought it to the White Snake Sage , prompting them to go to the Ryūchi cave . On their way, their path was blocked by Team 10. Refusing to return to Konoha, they engaged the team in battle. After the pair was subdued, Shikadai realized that the situation had too many inconsistencies to call Mitsuki a traitor. Wanting to find answers, Shikadai convinced his teammates to help Boruto and Sarada.
Arriving at the cave, the genin gained access after Boruto crossed three paths. Inside, the shinobi met the sage, who instructed them to present him with the inverted ladder of his Garaga in order to unlock the secrets of Mitsuki's snake. During their ordeal, Sasuke's summoning snake, Aoda , came to Sarada's aid, and after Boruto made a summoning contract with Garada and presented it to the sage, she showed the memories of Mitsuki's snake to the group, which revealed that he was not a traitor and was heading to the Land of the Earth . As the group began to approach the border of the Land of Earth, Shikadai asked Inojin and Chōchō to return to the village to report their findings. As the other genin continued their pursuit, Kokuyō , who attacked and pressured the shinobi. The three were helped by Inojin and Chōchō, who dealt with Kokuyō while Sarada and Boruto continued. They were soon intercepted by Sekiei , who noted that Mitsuki was with them willingly. While Boruto fought him, Mitsuki saved Sekiei from an attack before assaulting Boruto until he lost consciousness, which shocked Sarada.
After the outsiders and Mitsuki left, the Ino-Shika-Chō trio returned to help Boruto. While caring for Boruto, Inojin discovered a miniature and imperfect Akuta who became very much in love with him. After Boruto woke up, the group agreed to venture to Iwa and retrieve Mitsuki, which prompted Boruto to suggest that they receive help from Ōnoki.
Kara's activation bow
In the anime, Sarada's team was tasked with working with Mugino to find Anato, a wanted missing person in the Land of Valleys. After meeting the man's wife, Mia, and learning about the village's large medical society, they were able to sneak onto the last known location of Anato's team. There, they were intercepted by Victor, the company president, and his guards. Since he was also looking for Anato's team and discovered that many of them were dead, it was decided to join their efforts. They soon found a cave. Inside, they found Anato, whose body was transformed into a malleable state and attacked them without thinking.
After the team failed to restrain Anato, Victor and his crew then appeared and overpowered him with a relentless barrage of Lightning Release. Victor promised that they would take Anato back to the village for treatment. Once their mission was technically complete, the Konoha ninjas decided to return to the Konohagakure. Along the way, Mitsuki became ill and his body took on the same properties as Anato's. Mugino brought them to Yubina, a former medical ninja. Sarada helped her to heal Mitsuki. Yubina determined that during the fight with Anato, Mitsuki had been infected with part of the First Hokage's cell structure. Yubina also revealed that there were other cases like this, and rumors that the black market was harvesting the late Hokage's cells to sell. It was decided that while Mitsuki would stay to recover,
There, they learned that a worker from Victor's company came by weeks ago with the Hashirama cell before suddenly disappearing. They also heard rumors that a man was in the area with ties to the Hashirama cell. It turned out to be a missing ninja named Kirisaki with unique medical prowess in ninjutsu. After Boruto lured him away, they were able to hold him. They learned that he was expecting to meet someone about the Hashirama cell the next day. They decided to pretend to be Kirisaki to get the Hashiram cell back. Sarada stayed hidden while using her Sharingan to keep watch. Once they met the contact, he was fooled into revealing that the Hashirama cell had been acquired by Lady Sakuya. She wished to use the Hashirama cell on herself under the mistaken illusion that it would let her live forever and even more, restore her youth and beauty of old. At the castle, Sarada and Mugino waited outside as a barrier around it prevented infiltration. Soon after, an alarm sounded. It was revealed that someone had killed Sakuya and tricked the Konoha ninja into escaping to safety with the stolen Hashirama cell.
Everyone in the city began to hunt them down, hoping to get a reward for their capture. After being cornered, they were helped by a young boy named Katara. He led them through an underground network that the city's children used for their own society. At the base, the Konoha ninja met Mitsuki. After she fully recovered and her antibodies helped heal Kona, she helped Mitsuki sneak into the city. The children's network was able to quickly find the real killers. Once outside the country's borders, the separate genin of Mugino and Konohamaru found their targets. However, they were quickly attacked by new enemies.
The attackers turned out to be Kumo-nin, consisting of Omoi, Kakui and Marui. Having heard rumors that Konoha-nin had killed Lady Sakuya and stolen the Hashirama cell, they questioned the genin. Mugino and Konohamaru quickly returned and clarified things. After explaining the situation, the group worked together to track down the real culprits, who were deduced to be shinobi from the Land of Mist. Along the way, they were intercepted by Deepa, who was also looking for the Hashirama cell. Omoi's team decided to deal with the new threat while the Konoha ninjas advanced. Soon after, Mugino and his team were intercepted by one of the thieves, Yūga, who was determined to complete his mission of delivering the Hashirama cell to his land at any cost.
He unleashed an abnegation technique to trap the Konoha ninja in a barrier and summon a destructive demon. The genin tried to hold back the demon while Mugino and Konohamaru tried to destroy the barrier, but were quickly stopped by it. Changing tactics, Mugino held back the demon, letting it absorb his chakra long enough for his team to destroy it. Later, after Mugino had recovered sufficiently, the team then resumed tracking the Haze-nin.
After catching up with the remaining enemies, the Konoha ninjas were tricked and caught by Hiruga's self-denial technique] which produced a holding mud. As Sarada realized that the technique would drag everything close to him underground, Omoi arrived. Defeated, he revealed that Deepa had killed his allies and was on his way to the Land of Mist to retrieve the Hashirama Cell. Worried about his remaining brother, Hiruga cancelled his technique and rushed off. Although Omoi could not reach his allies, he warned them that Deepa was apparently immune to all forms of attack.
After catching up with Hiruga's older brother, Asaka, it took some time to convince them that Hiruga was really him and that there was a new threat. Before a truce could be agreed upon, Deepa arrived and quickly slaughtered the remaining quadruplets. Boruto was furious and attacked the man, only for his kunai to bounce harmlessly off Deepa's body. The man explained that he is able to manipulate all the carbon around him, including in his own body to become invulnerable. Victor arrived and revealed himself to be allied with Deepa. Victor separated the jōnin from the genin of the team, where Sarada and his teammates faced Deepa. Sarada's Sharingan proved unable to properly track Deepa's movements, and eventually she and Boruto were knocked out. Mitsuki revealed her Sage transformation to save her friends and escape.
With the severity of Sarada and Boruto's injuries, Mitsuki brought them to Yubina for treatment, which stabilized their condition. Soon after, Konohamaru and Mugino brought them back to Konohagakure for better care, also bringing Mitsuki to Orochimaru for his treatment. After successfully undergoing surgery, Sarada was ashamed of his defeat against Deepa. Despite this, three days later, Sarada was able to get up and committed to becoming stronger, seeking out her father to train her. She asked him to teach her Chidori, but he refused, explaining the risks associated with the jutsu. Her Sharingan was not mature enough, having only one tomoe when two were needed to properly perceive enemy counterattacks on the linear path of Chidori. Sarada was disheartened to learn that one can' It was not simply a matter of training the Sharingan to develop it, which required increased emotional responses in extreme situations. Instead, he offered her to master her tomoe Sharingan, forcing her to dodge attacks similar to Deepa's. He advised her not to focus on all the targets at once, but rather to focus on the general area of the attacks.
As Sarada began to improve her movements against the barrage attacks, Sasuke noted that she was still very limited in how long she could maintain the Sharingan. As he began to argue to focus on improving her stamina, Sarada insisted on strengthening her Sharingan as much as her father. She asked about the Mangekyō Sharingan, having only a vague knowledge of it. Concerned about such a dangerous power, Sasuke quickly changed the subject, insisting that it was for another day. Soon they were approached by Sakura. She was worried that Sarada would push himself too hard after recovering, and even more horrified to hear him talk about the Mangekyō Sharingan. While Sakura insisted that she couldn't push herself so recklessly, Sarada was furious to hear her mother child her in this way, refusing to see why she wanted to get stronger, and ran away.
The next day, as Sarada continued to struggle to escape all of Sasuke's barrages, Sakura approached her. She insisted that blindly accepting the challenge would not yield any results. She placed Sarada in a sparring match with her, quickly crushing Sarada. Sakura noted that Sarada's chakra control was still underdeveloped, burning it quickly in her various actions and releasing it randomly when attacking, affecting both her combat performance and the development of her Sharingan. Sarada's second problem was that her resolve was still too fragile, fearing defeat. Determined to overcome her limits, Sarada again faced Sakura, using her Sharingan to mimic Sakura's movements and general timing so that the chakra-enhanced strength would improve her own and stop. While Sakura criticized Sarada in tears
Later, while Sarada's training under her parents showed good results, she went to see Boruto after he was released from the hospital after his own training. After comparing each other's growth, they felt that it was the right time to return to the Land of Valleys to return Anato's ring to Mia. Having already obtained permission to leave from the Seventh Hokage, the two left.
Back in the Land of Valleys, they met Mia and gave her Anato's ring. They also learned that Victor had reported to Mia that Anato had been killed by enemies trying to steal their research. Realizing that Victor was using Anato for his own gain, Boruto decided to reveal the truth about Victor's goals, despite Sarada's protest. Suddenly, an earthquake occurred from the company's main building. Sarada and Boruto decided to investigate.
There, they found Konohamaru struggling to defend himself from the vicious assault of the recreated divine tree. As they helped him, he explained how the divine tree had not been seen since the fourth Shinobi World War]. Victor then approached, explaining that he had taken fragments of the dead divine tree after the end of the war, feeding them with the Hashirama cell and various test subjects. He expressed his joy at how the people of Land of Valleys would be consumed by the divine tree to produce chakra fruit. Victor collapsed the ground around Boruto and Sarada, sending them to the ground below. There, they were approached by Deepa. Sarada and Boruto were determined to stop him once and for all after all the people he had hurt.
Despite their improved skills, and even aided by the return of Mitsuki, Deepa's carbon powers proved as unerring as ever. Sarada refused to be deterred, however, her training allowing her two Sharingan to advance at two tomoe. Her improved reflexes allowed her to better dodge and deflect Deepa's assaults and get closer to attacking, but her defensive power always proved too much. In the end, by donating his chakra with Mitsuki's to Boruto, they were finally able to break through Deepa's defense and defeat him with a Super Compression Rasengan. During which, Orochimaru destroyed the divine tree and defeated Victor. While Mia promised to testify against the company's actions, Team 7 was proud of their victory.
Back in the village, Sarada and her friends found Denki setting up an experiment to improve radio communications. Sarada and the others decided to help him with the work. It eventually worked, but failed to maintain stability. Denki, however, remained determined to improve the technology. Sarada joined everyone in applauding.
Arc Kawaki
Back in Konoha, Sarada helped Boruto walk, during which the group discovered destroyed puppets near an unconscious boy]. As they began to examine him, Kawaki, they discovered that he had a seal matching Boruto's on his palm. As Boruto's seal began to hurt Kawaki, he also felt the pain, causing him to suddenly wake up and destroy the area nearby. Questioning who the team was, Konohamaru identified himself and asked for information about the accident. Refusing to provide information and wanting to be left alone, Boruto revealed to the boy his mark, which led Kawaki to believe that they were Kara's pursuers. As they tried to correct him, Garō made his presence known, announcing his intentions to get Kawaki back. Killing his attacker with a shot, Team 7 survived Boruto's explosion by absorbing him with his Kāma. Passing out from his fight, Katasuke determined that his body had been modified into a scientific ninja tool. In the end, it was decided to take Kawaki back to the village to see the Seventh Hokage.
In the anime, while Konohamaru was on his way to the Hokage, Sarada and his team first took Kawaki back to the research institute to deal with him, where the strange boy was being held. Eventually, he was able to escape, causing the institute to go into a state of emergency. Team 7 came to the conclusion that the boy would try to escape by train and went to the nearest village. As their efforts failed, they heard a disturbance and investigated. They found Kawaki attacking Sumire. The police had also found the boy and engaged him, forcing him to retreat. Boruto dealt with Sumire while Mitsuki and Sarada went after Kawaki. Just as the boy's rampage was starting to cause a lot of collateral damage, Naruto arrived. Hearing from Sumire that the boy was just emotionally frightened by his difficult past, the Hokage took pity and passively restrained Kawaki.
Later, after finishing his mission, Sarada went to enjoy some pastries and discovered that Kawaki was being watched by Naruto. Deciding to join the couple on their errand, it became apparent that Kawaki was both inexperienced in enjoying the simple pleasures of life and was still as guarded as ever in his new peaceful surroundings. While walking through Yamanaka Flowers, Sarada saw Kawaki having a panic attack and Naruto comforting him afterwards. After buying a vase, Sarada decided to leave the couple and told Kawaki that as a person who aims to become Hokage, she can rely on him. Later, after learning that Kawaki and Boruto had fought Delta, Sarada wondered why the couple was so comfortable with each other now. Later, watching the Seventh train Kawaki in ninjutsu with Chōchō, Sarada was jealous of how he was receiving special treatment from the Hokage. After the training, Sarada asked his teammates and Kawaki if there was a connection between Kāma and the mark on Sakura's forehead. Naruto informed her that Sakura's mark was the strength of the hundred seals, promoting Mitsuki to inform everyone that there was a lot about her jutsu that was not yet understood, prompting her to look for Sakura about it.
Finding Sakura at Yamanaka Flowers with Ino, Sarada asked about her brand and learned that it was a jutsu from the Sage of Six Paths era. Then, Sakura asked her to bring the flowers she bought home, which led Sarada to excitedly learn that Sasuke was coming home, during which Ino felt an intruder from the village. Listening to Ino inform Naruto that they were at her location, Sarada told Sakura that she was going home, but instead decided to go to the Hokage and Kawaki's location as she couldn't sit and do nothing. When she arrived at her destination, she found Kawaki alone and asked him where Naruto was. Joined by Mitsuki and Boruto, she informed them that Naruto was missing, while Shikimaru prevented Kawaki from moving and asked his peers to build a barrier around the Hokage residence. Learning what had happened and comforting Kawaki, his prosthetic arm began to function, confirming that Naruto was alive and forming a portal with Boruto to his location. Intending to continue, Shikamaru held them all back with his shadow, which Kawaki absorbed to allow them to enter the portal.
On the other side, they arrived in an alien dimension, and found Boro, who told them that the jar he was guarding contained Naruto. Engaging him in battle, the team learned that Boro could regenerate his wounds. Watching her peers being immobilized by a dark mist], she threw a rock at their opponent to save and retreat with her teammates. Mitsuki shows Sarada some of the mist he collected, which Sarada examined with his Sharingan to determine that it was a virus. After collecting antibodies from Boro, Mitsuki distributed them to the team to be immune to the mist. Accepting Sarada as their leader, Sarada fought Boro alone and pretended to be overpowered by his mist, during which she burned him for Boruto and Kawaki to destroy his upper body using their jutsu. Regenerating attacks, the battle resumed. Kawaki informed Sarada that Boro's regeneration was due to a large scientific ninja tool somewhere in his body, prompting her to suggest that she had used Sharingan to find it. Determining that Boro has moved the tools location with hand seals, she observes where he moved it. Unable to express Boro's secret out loud, she decided to engage him with a jutsu that was faster than he could form hand seals, which led her to hit the tool location with Chidori.
After successfully removing the core, Boro's body began to mutate without his stabilizer. Kawaki and Boruto were able to use their Kāma to create a crack in the seal and release Naruto unconscious. While the children watched over the Hokage, Boro calmed down enough to turn his rage against the children. Sarada attempted a Fire Release, but Boro grabbed her and squeezed. She saw Boruto's Kāma evolve further, distorting Boruto's personality while showing a huge increase in power to effortlessly destroy Boro. Afterwards, Kāma deactivated and Boruto returned to normal, with no memory of what happened, with Sarada worried about the danger posed by Kāma.
After the team returned to Konoha via Boruto and Kawaki's Kāma], they were taken to the hospital to recover. After Naruto and Sasuke recovered from their own injuries, Sasuke questioned his daughter about the events. Sarada explained to her parents how during their fight with Boro, it was only because of a strange new evolution of Boruto's Kāma that they were able to defeat him. She noted that Boruto not only sprouted a horn and manifested a Byakugan] in his right eye with his massive power increase, but even acted differently. This concerned Sasuke, but Sakura told her daughter to rest, which he agreed to.
