He originally uses this "power" to rescue his former girlfriend Tachibana Hinata, who was killed along with her brother Tachibana Naoto, during a fight between members of a Tokyo gang, the Tokyo Manjikai. Apparence
As an adult, Takemichi has all the characteristics of an ordinary man. He is neither tall nor short, has wavy black hair and wears simple, normal clothes. Being very stressed and anxious about his life and specifically his work, Takemichi looks tired.
At 14 years old, Takemichi's hair is blond, due to bleaching, and is styled in a "false hawk" style. When it's messed up, it looks like his current haircut. He usually wears the Mizo school uniform, consisting of a black top, simple black pants and moccasins. When he's with the Toman, he wears the gang's uniform, a black jumpsuit with the custom logo on it. Those eyes, blue, seem to be wider and wider open.
Personality
Takemichi had low self-esteem, always apologizing even for trivial things and crying easily. As noted by those around him and himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge against the rich because he himself is not very financially stable.
However, going back in time again and again gradually makes Takemichi a completely different person. Slowly, he changes from a coward to a man with unwavering conviction, even in the face of insurmountable obstacles, he refuses to back down. He becomes the one who keeps Toman unified through their difficulties and turns into its unofficial leader, even guiding Mikey and Draken on the right path. Indeed, even when Toman is at its lowest ebb, it is Takemichi's unyielding spirit that pushes his companions forward.
Takemichi is very loyal to those he considers his friends and is fiercely protective of them. He is willing to risk his life to make sure they are safe. This loyalty drives his determination to create a better future for those he cares about. This can be seen through his countless leaps in time to change the horrible fate of his loved ones.
Furthermore, when confronted, Takemichi does not shy away, as he is more willing to be beaten, even risking his life rather than admit defeat. This became an inspiration to the Toman members and proved to be decisive, against all odds.
Takemichi is known to have a very similar personality to Shinichiro Sano, with Draken pointing out that both "are weak for women, weak in battle, but reliable."
Finally, Takemichi is a careless and disorganized individual as he never cleans his room.
Relations
Sano Manjiro
Takemichi and Mikey never meet in the original timeline. They only meet by chance when, during one of the trips to the past, Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa to a one-on-one fight. Noticing Takemichi's bravery, Mikey takes an interest in him and decides to keep her close to him. From then on, they become very close friends. Takemichi initially fears Mikey for his fearsome prowess, but comes to respect him after learning his true nature.
Saving Mikey from corruption is one of Takemichi's priorities, as Mikey plays an important role in the events of the current timeline. He gradually gains Mikey's trust and support and even becomes a guide for him.
Ryûgûji Ken
Takemichi meets Draken at the same time as Mikey: during the clandestine fight against Kiyomasa. Takemichi is just as afraid of Draken as he is of Mikey, but also comes to have the same respect for him after understanding his true personality and character.
After discovering that one of the causes of the current tragedy is Draken's death, Takemichi sets out to protect Draken, which he succeeds in doing. Takemichi's bravery deserves Draken's utmost respect and appreciation, as he is willing to put aside his immeasurable pride to bow to Takemichi.
Matsuno Chifuyu
Chifuyu is the first person to whom Takemichi reveals his time travel powers. Without any semblance of doubt, Chifuyu believes him and swears to help him. From then on, the two become close friends, as Chifuyu is always there to support Takemichi.
Hakkai Shiba
Takemichi saves Hakkai from his abusive brother Taiju, after Mitsuya trades Hakkai for Yuzuha's freedom. Takemichi defends the two siblings, surprising them and giving them hope. Hakkai also follows Takemichi directly into battle during the Tenjiku arc, trusting him.
Tachibana Hinata
Hinata is the only girlfriend Takemichi ever had. When he finds out that she dies, he is devastated even though they haven't seen each other in years. It is she who is the cause of Takemichi's determination to change the future for the better.
After going back in time, Takemichi becomes more attached to Hinata, which is slightly different from when he was 14. Indeed, when he was 14, he worried about her constantly and cared little about her. He remembers that he also took her for granted, factors that led to their breakup in the past.
Whenever Takemichi loses his determination and purpose, it is Hinata who shows him the way and inspires him, whether directly or indirectly. It is revealed that even after their breakup, Hinata never started another relationship with the hope of getting back together with Takemichi one day. She also kept the necklace with a cheap four-leaf clover that he gave her all those years ago.
Takemichi becomes her ex-fiancé when he dies in the future.
Kisaki Tetta
The relationship between Takemichi and Kisaki was largely one-sided. As a child, Takemichi saved a young Hinata Tachibana from bullies. This led Hinata to have a long-term crush on him and caused Kisaki, who loved Hinata, to be jealous.
Takemichi only realizes who Kisaki is in the present when Naoto Tachibana informs him that he has become the leader of the Toman.
Taiju Shiba
Takemichi fights Taiju for the freedom of Yuzuha and Hakkai, in the end he wins and takes Taiju's place as the leader of the Black Dragons. While in a timeline, Taiju helps Takemichi escape, we don't know if they are friends.
Tachibana Naoto
Naoto is the only person from the future who knows about Takemichi's time travel abilities and so tries to help him by providing him with information about Toman. The two become friends because of their common desire to save Hinata from her untimely death. Naoto even goes so far as to kill Mikey in one of the timelines because he sees Mikey as a threat to Takemichi's life.
Skills and Competencies
As the captain of Tokyo Manjikai, Takemichi has the whole first division under his command.
Authority
On several occasions, Takemichi was able to give strength to the gang members by showing them the way with his courage. His outstanding leadership has contributed to the strengthening of the Toman as a whole.
Physical abilities
Takemichi is far from being a good fighter and rarely wins his fights by himself. However, he has an extraordinary resistance, having already stood up after being hit by a weapon that would have knocked anyone down. His incredible tenacity allows him to hold on until more powerful allies arrive. Even after being shot in the foot, he was able to chase down his enemy on foot and catch up. His stamina and tenacity are his main and greatest strength.
Time Travel
Because of his and Naoto's will to save Hinata, Takemichi's incredible power to travel in time was born. Shaking Naoto's hand in the present allows him to go back in his body 12 years ago, and shaking Naoto's hand in the past allows him to go back 12 years to the day in the future. However, during all the time Takemichi is in the past, his consciousness follows him and his body in the present is in a state of apparent death, as if his soul had left his body. Thus, if Takemichi spends a week in the past and then returns to the present, a week will have passed in the present as well.
After saving Hinata, Takemichi seemed to have lost this power, not being able to return to the past by shaking Naoto's hand, because he was "killed" in this timeline. However, he got a similar power, born from his and Sano Manjiro's desire to save the latter. He will then go back in time 10 years and not 12, which will then begin the arc of the Three Heavens, and the fight against the new Kanto Manjikai of Mikey.
Takemichi obtains since his return in the past thanks to Mikey's handshake, a power allowing to see the near future (probably a few hours or a day, in order to avoid a disastrous near future which could happen, he obtains it by touching a surface, or an object to which the concerned person also touched.

Tokyo Manjikai Arc
July 4, 2017 (1st Timeline)
Takemichi learns on television that Tachibana Hinata, his girlfriend in high school, and Tachibana Naoto, Hinata's younger brother, have died in a conflict with the Tokyo Manjikai gang. Even though he hasn't seen her in years, Takemichi feels a twinge of sadness when he thinks of Hinata's death. Later, in Shinjuku Station, Takemichi is suddenly pushed onto the train tracks. As a train is approaching at full speed and he feels death coming, Takemichi thinks neither of his parents nor of his friends, but of Hinata Tachibana. At the moment of the train's impact, flashbacks of his eighth grade year come to his mind...
July 4, 2005
Takemichi suddenly finds himself in Shibuya station, in his body of twelve years ago and in the company of his friends from that time, he wonders if he has not travelled in time. At that time, Takemichi and his friends were in a gang in their Mizo middle school and went to fight against the 4th graders of Shibuya San middle school. While they are looking for the 4th graders, a group of 3rd graders from the same school, falls on them. Unfortunately for Takemichi and his friends, these 3rd graders are real scum and are therefore much stronger and more violent than them. After crushing them, the third graders reveal that they are members of the Tokyo Manjikai and announce that Takemichi and the rest of his gang will be their slaves from now on.
Takemichi then goes to the apartment of Hinata, his girlfriend at that time. At the sight of her, Takemichi suddenly starts to cry, Hinata then notices immediately that he is not in his usual state and tells him that she wants to know everything about him if he is not well. After seeing him again, Takemichi goes to the park below the building, totally depressed. There, he hears a gang of young teenagers shaking down another one, Takemichi then goes to hit one of them and threatens to kill them if they don't run away right away. After putting them on the run, he gives advice to the young boy who was being shaken down and realizes that he is Tachibana Naoto. After a short discussion, Takemichi decides to reveal to him that he comes from the future, and that Naoto and his sister will die in twelve years. He then asks the young boy to do everything to protect himself and his sister in the future, before shaking his hand to seal their agreement.
July 4, 2017 (2nd Timeline)
Takemichi wakes up in the infirmary of the station where he was hit by the train, and curiously has no body damage. A man comes then to meet him, it is Tachibana Naoto. He tells Takemichi that he has indeed traveled in time, and that this is what allowed Naoto to prepare himself during 12 years, and to manage to survive on July 1st, 2005, then to save Takemichi's life on July 4th. Unfortunately, he did not manage to prevent his sister's death. Naoto then asks for Takemichi's help, who is the only one who can save Hinata's life.
Moebius Arc
Returning from the past, Takemichi joins Naoto to learn more about Moebius, since he is convinced that Mikey and Draken will never quarrel and also asks him to find Osanai Nobutaka in order to collect information about the conflict between Toman and Moebius. Once Osanai is found, the two men see him, to their surprise, being scolded by his boss. They invite him to coffee and, although Osanai initially refuses to talk, he denies that he was behind Draken's murder. However, he adds that someone orchestrated his death, which was the trigger for the internal conflict within the Toman. After receiving a call from his boss, Osanai leaves in a hurry after adding that all his misfortunes would never have happened if Draken had remained alive. Convinced by the words of a helpless Osanai, Takemichi decides to return to the past to prevent this.
He finds himself sitting behind Sendo Atsushi on a bicycle, happy to see his friend alive and well. Takemichi asks him if he has a dream, to which Akkun answers that he would like to be a hairdresser, Takemichi encourages him to become one and tells him that he will be his first customer. Takemichi then goes to join Mikey and Draken, who are accompanied by Pachin and Peyan. He asks the leader of the Toman to give up the conflict between the two gangs since it will benefit an evil person who seeks to destroy them. Pachin punches him and kicks him when he sees that Takemichi persists. Unfortunately, Mikey doesn't want to change his mind, but Takemichi doesn't flinch and insists on finding out more about Moebius before attacking them head on. Draken stops Pachin and agrees with Takemichi's words. It is at this moment that Osanai interrupts them, provoking them which irritates Pachin who charges at him. However, Osanai knocks him out by giving him a powerful punch and laughs at them, having heard that the Toman intends to confront them and calls the rest of his gang who surround Takemichi and his friends.
Osanai then hits Takemichi seeing that he was looking at him, but Pachin comes back and Mikey grants him his duel without anyone interfering, but Osanai dominates his young opponent. Later, after Draken successfully neutralizes Osanai, they hear police sirens and as they are about to flee, Pachin stabs Osanai, he chooses to stay behind to get arrested and apologizes to his boss. While fleeing, Takemichi loses consciousness. He finds himself in a hospital bed and Emma at his bedside. Emma tells him that the Toman is divided between Mikey's supporters on one side and Draken's on the other. Mikey wants to free Pachin, while Draken prefers to respect their friend's wish to be imprisoned. While trying to console Emma, Hina arrives and misunderstands the situation.
When they arrive at the entrance of Takemichi's house, Takemichi and Draken come face to face with Mikey, who also came to check on Takemichi, and both of them do not hide their anger. They start to insult each other before starting to throw and destroy any object - belonging to Takemichi - that is within their reach. Mad of rage, Takemichi interferes and asks them to stop.
The latter rushes on Mikey but he falls on a heap of waste and, seeing that he has fecal matter on the head, Draken and Mikey burst out laughing and end up making up, they also apologize for having broken Takemichi's things. The two leaders of the Toman and Takemichi's friends leave and after washing his head, Takemichi joins the leaders who behave as if nothing had happened since Mikey has even forgotten the subject of their argument. Takemichi is reassured that the two friends are reconciled and that Draken will not die anymore. At this moment, Emma and Hina join them and Hina asks Takemichi if he wants to come with her to the festival on August 3rd, which he accepts since it will be the date of Draken's murder in his timeline.
On the D-day, Takemichi, Hinata, Emma and Draken go together to the festival and spend time together. As it starts to rain, Hinata and Takemichi run to get under a tree to protect themselves from the rain, Hinata falls and Takemichi catches her. Hinata tells him that she forgives him for his infidelity knowing that she knows that Emma wanted to make Draken jealous. Takemichi is about to kiss her when his phone rings, indeed, Kazushi calls him to warn Draken that some ex-pro-Mikey want to hurt him, in spite of the fact that they have reconciled. Takemichi understands then that Draken's life is not out of danger.
Takemichi hangs up, takes leave of Hinata to rush to seek Draken when he crosses Kiyomasa and his band with a member of Moebius, who entrusts Kiyomasa with a penknife, by ordering him to kill Draken. Unfortunately for him, Takemichi is spotted by one of Kiyomasa's underlings and they start to beat him up before tying him up with tape. A few minutes later, Hinata arrives and removes the tape which closes his mouth, Takemichi bursts in tears, regretting not to have succeeded in saving anybody and that if he was like Mikey or Draken he would have succeeded, Hinata interrupts him then by kissing him. She tells him that it is her first kiss that she gives with pleasure to a person as special as him. Hinata takes away the rest of the ribbons and he runs to stop Kiyomasa.
On his way, he meets Mitsuya, who also came to warn Draken that Peyan wants to hurt him, for revenge. Surprised by the revelations of the other, the two boys run to warn their friend. Mitsuya also thanks him for having reconciled the numbers 1 and 2 of the Toman. Mitsuya also explains to him that Peyan turned against the gang because they chose to leave Pachin in prison and that he does not forgive Draken.
Takemichi remembers the place where Draken was murdered, a parking lot, and runs to find Draken, exhausted, facing several members of Moebius. Upon seeing them, Number 2 sits down on the ground and hands over the suite to Mitsuya, but that's when they hear the sound of a motorcycle, Mikey's, approaching. He told them that Peyan had told him to go somewhere else to separate him from Draken and that he understood the trickery. Hanma Shuji appears, introducing himself as the temporary leader of Moebius. Mikey gives him his signature kick but his opponent blocks it easily. After several revelations, other members of Moebius arrive but fortunately the rest of the Toman also appear and a fight ensues between the two gangs. Takemichi decides to go in search of Draken and finally finds Kiyomasa. Just as he thinks he has managed to find the assassin in time, he realizes with horror that he is holding a blade full of blood in his hand. Turning around, he sees Draken, unconscious, who has just been stabbed.
Takemichi immediately informs Mikey, who tells him to carry him to a safe place since they have found that he is still alive. Takemichi carries him on his back to take him to the hospital, Emma and Hinata arrive and warn him that they have already contacted an ambulance and that it will arrive soon. However, Kiyomasa and his gang arrive much to Takemichi's dismay, but Draken wakes up and stands up to face them telling Takemichi to run away with the girls. Takemichi understands that Draken knows that he is afraid and that he was intending to run away, so he decides to take his courage in both hands and goes to Draken's side to face their numerous opponents. Takemichi approaches Kiyomasa and says to him that he does not intend to flee since he must take his revenge of their previous confrontation which never ended. Irritated by Takemichi's attitude, he is even more irritated when Draken, Hinata and Emma bet for their friend's victory. Takemichi rushes to punch him but Kiyomasa pierces his hand with his blade and says that it's not a duel but that he wants to eliminate him. Takemichi continues to throw blows at him but his opponent avoids them and counters them easily, he is frustrated by his own weakness and by his own dreams of becoming the future leader of the Toman which are now far away because of Kiyomasa. Takemichi gets his act together, tackles Kiyomasa, bites him on the hip, and just as Masataka is about to give him a powerful blow on his neck, Takemichi manages to climb on his back and start choking him, finally managing to make him lose consciousness.
However, the rest of Masataka's gang have no intention of letting them get away unscathed but Takemichi tells the girls to run away, while he faces his enemies with Draken, he then asks him how he sees paradise and they both start laughing. As their opponents run towards them, Atsushi punches one of them and makes him drop his blade, he is followed by Makoto, Takuya and Kazushi, who all four interpose themselves between the two groups to defend their friends. Atsushi explains to Takemichi that it is Hinata who warned them and they face Kiyomasa's gang, but their opponents are stronger than them, but Atsushi affirms to Takemichi that he felt inspired by him during his previous fight against Kiyomasa and refuses to run away. They hear then the sirens of the ambulance which arrives finally.
Indeed, they are Emma and Hinata who lead the ambulance to them and take Draken to the hospital. In the ambulance, Draken thanks Takemichi for saving him and asks him to take care of Mikey. Suddenly, Draken goes into cardiac arrest and the doctors start to resuscitate him and he is taken to the operating room. Takemichi's friends and the rest of the Toman members arrive and Mikey confidently tells them that Draken is a man of his word and will survive since he has promised them that he will lead the Toman with him. The operation ends, the doctor comes out and reassures them that Draken is safe. Later, Takemichi comes out of the hospital, happy to have succeeded in saving Draken and notices Mikey, sitting on the ground and crying with relief.
On August 10, rumors of the fight say that Takemichi has become a legend for stopping the fight. While he enjoys his new fame, he doesn't want to return to the present. He goes to visit Draken, but he is scolded by Draken for his appearance, clothes and behavior. Takemichi yells at him that he can't understand how he lived so far in the shadows and how he feels now. Draken hands Takemichi the Toman uniform and tells him that it came from Mikey and that it belonged to him since he formed the Toman. Takemichi is free to decide if he wants to wear it, but Mikey wanted Takemichi to have it because he saved the Toman. Draken gets up and bows, thanking Takemichi once again and then tells him to go see Mikey on the roof, where he is probably sleeping.
On the roof, Mikey asks Takemichi why Hanma wanted to provoke an inner conflict in Toman and why he used Kiyomasa to kill Draken. He finds it even more mysterious that Takemichi realized all this before anyone else and tried to stop him. Mikey wonders who Takemichi is. As Takemichi tries to find an answer, Mikey laughs at him for his ridiculous outfit and thanks him for saving Draken.
Takemichi wants to stay with the others, but decides that it's time to go back to the present. He goes to Hinata's house to see Naoto. Since he got Hinata into trouble, he tries to make up for it and gives her a necklace with four clovers. When Naoto arrives, Takemichi shakes his hand and goes back to the present. He thinks that since Draken is alive, Kisaki Tetta won't become number 2, Mikey won't change because of Draken's death, Atsushi won't kill himself and Hinata won't be killed.
Back in the present, he finds himself in his workplace, where his manager reprimands him once again for not working properly. He is surprised to see that he is still working here when he was fired. He checks his phone, but does not find Naoto in his contacts. He sees a reminder notification for a scheduled meeting at the salon and wonders what it's about. On his way to the salon, he finds Atsushi working there and wonders if he has become a hairdresser. Atsushi tells him that he has just started and that he is only an assistant. He reveals to him that he called him, because they are finally going to allow him to start cutting customers' hair next month and wants Takemichi to be his first customer because he promised him. Takemichi is happy that he has managed to change the present. He then receives a call from an unknown number and realizes that it is Naoto, who realizes that he has succeeded in changing the present and wants them to go to Hinata.
While getting into Naoto's car, Takemichi thinks about his feeling of helplessness, when he learned about Hinata's death. Takemichi is excited to see Hinata again and Naoto tells him that the incident that killed Hinata, Toman's fight, did not take place in the present future. They arrive at Hina's apartment, Takemichi doesn't hide his joy since he thinks that his dream has come true. He wonders if Hinata has changed in twelve years and Naoto tells him that she has: she is now an adult and a teacher in an elementary school. However, Takemichi suddenly becomes nervous, he tells Naoto that he can't see Hinata and that Naoto has to visit her alone, because she doesn't know that he saved her and they are now strangers to each other. As he walks away, Takemichi thinks about how he has changed the future, but he himself has not changed, for he is still in the same circumstances as he was at the beginning: he is still a twenty-six year old virgin, a loser. While leaving the building, he runs into Hinata. Takemichi cries when he sees her, remembering all the times she motivated him in the past, pushing him to change the future. Finally, back in Hinata's apartment, despite their past proximity, Hinata, Naoto and Takemichi sit awkwardly. Unable to bear this awkward atmosphere, Naoto decides to leave, but Takemichi desperately begs him to stay, as he is extremely nervous. Hinata laughs at Takemichi's reaction, pointing out that he hasn't changed, while Takemichi notices the four-leaf clover necklace Hinata is wearing. Naoto decides to take them somewhere else to try to relax the atmosphere.
But it turns out to be a failure since the atmosphere is still tense. Suddenly, Naoto is called by the police, who needs reinforcement. He decides to leave his car to Hinata and to come back to get it tomorrow. Takemichi thinks that he has lost his chance to get Hinata back and thinks twice about the necklace. Hinata decides to stop her car in a parking lot and asks Takemichi to accompany her. She tells him that the park brings back memories, especially a memory of her with someone she likes on Christmas Eve. Hearing this, Takemichi realizes that Hinata has moved on and regrets her naivety. He thinks back to when Hinata dumped him twelve years ago. Hinata says that she still hasn't forgotten the person she was with on Christmas Eve and who left her. Takemichi replies that he can't believe that someone could dump her and Hinata, crying, wonders why she was dumped. Takemichi realizes that Hinata is talking about him. Overwhelmed by this information, he rushes to the bathroom, confused, because his memories don't match this information.
Hinata's words push him to change and he decides to ask her out. When he comes out of the toilet, he runs into a man, who notices with surprise that Takemichi is not in the car and that he was hoping to eliminate both of them. Although confused at first, upon seeing the tattoos on the man's hands, Takemichi realizes that the man is Hanma Shuji and has an uneasy feeling. He rushes to Naoto's car, in which Hinata is sitting, just in time to see another car hit her. Horrified, Takemichi rushes to the accident. The driver of the car turns out to be Akkun, who is seriously injured, and asks Takemichi why he is not in the car. Akkun tells him the same things he told Takemichi in the future, wondering when things went wrong, how he came to fear Kisaki and implores Takemichi to save everyone, while Takemichi screams in despair, as events turned out the same way with the death of his loved ones. Akkun's car explodes and Takemichi rushes to Hinata, who is still alive.
As Takemichi tries to get Hinata out of the car to escape the impending fire of the explosion, she thanks him but she is badly injured and has lost all feeling in her legs. In tears, Takemichi slips into the car, hugs Hinata and confesses that he loves her and will always love her. Hinata answers that she is happy to hear that and asks him to leave the car, because she does not want him to die with her, which Takemichi refuses to do. Feeling the fire approaching, Hinata pushes Takemichi away smiling at him before the car explodes and implodes in flames. As the fire roars before him, Takemichi vows to save Hina and find a future where she is alive, no matter how many times it takes. To do this, he decides to become the leader of Toman.
Valhalla Arch
One morning a little after the tragedy, the funeral takes place; many people are present, and among them Naoto, Hinata's parents and Takemichi. The latter remembers the moments spent with the young girl, his declaration before she died. While the people present go each in turn to the ashes of the deceased, the turn of the young man comes. He remains a long time prostrated, so that two men come to ask him if all is well, and to ask him to leave his place to the other persons present. He finally reacts when he hears Naoto crying, and helps him to get up again. Hinata's brother then asks him the reason of the death of the girl, whereas they had done everything to avoid it.
A little later, Takemichi is alone at the edge of a small fish pond when Hinata's mother comes. The young man takes news of Naoto, then the woman gives him a folded cloth. He opens it and finds the necklace he had given to the deceased, in the shape of a four-leaf clover. Hinata's mother explains that the girl was very fond of it, and tears come to Takemichi's eyes.
Some time later, Takemichi and Naoto are outside, the latter sitting on a bench. He says that he asked about Atsushi, and found out that he has a family. Takemichi is surprised that he committed suicide under these conditions, and the policeman explains to him that his wife had been reported missing and probably taken hostage. Takemichi then declares to him that according to Atsushi, it is a new blow of the Toman of the present - at these words, he is surprised to have seen Hanma shortly before the murder. Naoto is then sorry, pleading that their enterprise was useless, that the destiny is immutable. Takemichi disproves him and explains that it is necessary to destroy the evil at the root; for that, he decides to dissolve the Toman by going up to its head. Naoto answers him that it doesn't make sense, but the young man exclaims that he will do everything to save Hinata. Convinced, the young policeman gets up, followed by Takemichi. They then wonder how the Tokyo Manjikai could have gone so wrong, since Mikey and Draken are alive. Naoto decides to look into the case of the latter.
The same evening, Takemichi comes back to pray near Hinata's grave. The next morning, he notices the numerous messages of Naoto on his phone, asking him to warn him if he finds anything. Another day, the policeman and Takemichi go to the prison, where apparently Draken is locked up. The latter has been sentenced to death, according to Naoto. The discussion between the number 2 and the young man begins: Takemichi asks why he killed all these people. Draken answers that he doesn't regret it, and adds that it's his fault if the Toman sank. He continues by saying that he should have stopped Tetta Kisaki. The time is up, he has to leave, and he advises Takemichi to flee Tokyo to save his life. Just before he leaves the room, the young man asks him why Kisaki is after him. Draken explains that Kisaki wants to destroy everything that matters to Mikey.
Later, in the living room of Naoto's apartment, Naoto explains to Takemichi that Kisaki is the current number 2 of the Toman. Takemichi renews his goal to become the boss of the gang, in order to stop Kisaki and to save Hinata, Atsushi and Draken. He explains that to begin with, he will try to become the leader of the 3rd team (formerly managed by Pachin). The young man then shakes Naoto's hand and dives into the past.
He finds himself in a public bath with Mikey and Draken. While they are fighting, a shower visor lands on his head and they all burst out laughing. A few moments later, they come out of the baths in their uniforms, and find all the team leaders; Mikey announces that they are going to proceed to the appointment of the leader of the 3rd team, in front of Takemichi's surprised face.
