Even just a few weeks into 2023, anime fans can list dozens of new and exciting anime titles that will dominate the airwaves this year. A handful of fan favorites will return with new seasons, and a few other must-see anime will debut to help keep the anime industry fresh with new characters and stories.

15/ Saga of Vinland
1 Complete Season, Season 2 Release Date: January 10, 2023
The 2023 winter anime lineup includes several fan-favorite return series to help 2023 get off to a great start. One highly anticipated anime is the seinen title Vinland Saga , continuing the story of Thorfinn Karlsefni the anti-hero and his adventures across medieval Europe.
Back in season 1, the bitter Thorfinn swore to kill his father's killer, only to lose his chance for revenge and end up being sold into slavery in Denmark. Now a pacifist, Thofinn must face his bloody past, reinvent himself and devise a plan to redeem his freedom before he can create Vinland across the sea.
14/ Welcome to the demon school, Iruma-Kun!
2 complete seasons, season 3 Release date: October 8, 2022
Welcome to the demon school, Iruma-Kun! returned in the autumn 2022 anime season with its third season, and this colorful isekai adventure also continues in the winter 2023 season. Many generic isekai titles have been released recently, such as My Isekai Life , but Iruma-Kun! is a different beast.
Iruma-Kun! is a heartfelt, animated isekai story about deredere Iruma Suzuki trying to survive and thrive in the demonic Netherworld with his classmates. He has already made many friends and allies, and he will need them all, plus a new arc, to survive the challenge of the Harvest Festival.
13/ Mashle: magic and muscles
Release date: April 7, 2023
Manga fans already love Mashle: Magic and Muscles as a weird but engaging cross between Harry Potter and One-Punch Man, and Mashle will get its anime in the spring 2023 lineup. The story is almost like My Hero Academia or Black Clover, taking place in a magical world where being born without supernatural talents is a serious problem.
The protagonist Mash Burnedead has no magic, but he has superhuman physical strength and speed to make up for it. He will need bulging biceps magic and infinite stamina to survive at Eaton's School, where he must simply pretend to be a wizard and survive countless challenges.
12/ Oshi No Ko
Release date: April 12, 2023
Oshi no Ko is another popular and captivating manga that is about to finally get its anime in 2023. Author Aka Akasaka of Kaguya-Sama fame wrote the story, which means that anyone who loves a playful yet emotionally complex and deep story is bound to enjoy watching Oshi no Ko.
This anime will explore the surprisingly brutal pop idol industry, exposing the sophisticated lies and vicious drama of the industry for all to see. The protagonist Ai Hoshino is an idol with a secret, and there are those who wish her ill because of it. Even all the fame and money in the world might not save Ai from disaster.
11/ Dr Stone: New World
2 complete seasons, season 3 Release date: April 6, 2023
The Dr. Stone manga may be over, but for anime-only fans, the Stone Age adventure is still ongoing, with another season just around the corner. The Stone Wars saga is over, with Senku's kingdom of science bigger and better than ever, with Tsukasa's thugs now following him as manual laborers.
The upcoming New World arc will expand Senku's world like never before, with the teenage scientist and his crew preparing to sail across the vast ocean to find new resources and opportunities. This means awakening a brand new character with a strong personality and even stronger navigational skills to help.

10/ Demon Slayer's blacksmith story arc
2 complete seasons, season 3 Release date: Sunday, April 9
Demon Slayer has long since established itself as a shonen must-have with two seasons and the movie Mugen Train , and there are still many adventures to be had. Shonen anime fans will certainly connect with the Swordsmith Village arc of Demon Slayer , which will feature some Hashira and moon demons.
Tanjiro Kamado and his friends will visit a reclusive village where Nichirin swords are forged, and there Tanjiro will meet many new friends and enemies. And as brutal as Daki and Gyutaro were as Upper Moon 6, Tanjiro will feel fear when even higher ranked moons make their debut.

9/ Bleach: bloody war of a thousand years
17 complete seasons, TYBW Part 2 Release date: July 2023
In the fall of 2022, the long-running Bleach anime returned after a 10-year absence from the airwaves with an exciting new story arc, updated animation and new music, and fans couldn't get enough. In 13 episodes, the Thousand Year Blood War story arc has pushed Bleach and its characters in bold new directions, and there's more to come.
In the summer 2023 anime season, fans will once again join protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki as he fights to free the world from the threat of King Yhwach. Ichigo will face many new Quincy enemies, fight alongside old allies, and even face a shocking betrayal along the way.
8/ Jujutsu Kaisen
1 Complete Season, Season 2 Release Date: July 6, 2023
Jujutsu Kaisen is the spiritual successor to Bleach, and it's like a meaner, leaner version of Tite Kubo's original classic shonen. Fans loved the first season a few years ago, with the gentle protagonist Yuji Itadori leading the way into the dark and violent world of cursed monsters and sorcery.
Now, after the fantastic movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , it is finally time for the second season of the main anime. It will air during the summer 2023 anime season, including flashbacks of a young Satoru Gojo and his strained relationship with his friend, Suguru Geto.

7/ Konosuba
2 complete seasons, season 3 Release date: Fall 2023
Fans of Konosuba are in fact in for a treat in 2023. In addition to the main series, the Megumin spin-off manga is also getting an anime called An Explosion On This Wonderful World! However, it is not yet clear whether the two seasons of Konosuba will be aired at the same time or not.
6/ Attack on Titan
3 complete seasons, season 4 part 4 Release date: Fall 2023
The long-running anime Attack on Titan is a classic example of paid patience with incredible results. The final season of this anime has been split into several parts, and finally, the final part will air in 2023 to finally end this brutal Titan War forever.
Eren Yeager has become a powerful anti-hero who will use the power of the founding Titan to destroy the non-Eldian world and fulfill the destiny of his people. Or so Eren sees it, as many of his former friends and allies now fight him to save what's left of the world.

5/Konosuba: an explosion in this wonderful world!
Release date: April 6, 2023
Konosuba: An Explosion in this Wonderful World! is the official prequel and spin-off of the main Konosuba anime series. Unlike most isekai anime, however, Explosion is told from the point of view of a native of that world, which means that it doesn't resemble isekai at all.
Instead, the Explosion anime is all about Megumin the magical girl and her personal quest to become a famous and successful explosions thrower. This anime also promises to retain all the zany and satirical humor that made Konosuba's original anime so successful and popular among isekai fans.
4/ Eden Zero
1 Full Season, Season 2 Release Date: April 1, 2023
Edens Zero is Hiro Mashima's most recent manga/anime series of Fairy Tail. Overall, Edens Zero is a slimmer and more elegant version of Fairy Tail without purpose and bloated, inviting fans of science fiction anime to a wild ride in the Sakura Cosmos.
Protagonists Shiki and Rebecca will gather their own team of friends and adventurers as they travel the universe, seeking a way to meet the legendary Mother, or Goddess of the Cosmos. Edens Zero is back for another action-packed season and gives off some serious Guardians of the Galaxy vibes the whole time.
3/ Bungou Stray Dogs
4 complete seasons, season 5 Release date: July 2023
The popular anime Bungou Stray Dogs returns for its fifth season in the summer of 2023, giving anime fans a lot to look forward to after the impressive spring 2023 schedule is finally complete. The global series Bungou Stray Dogs takes place in Yokohama, following the members of the Armed Detective Agency as they try to protect the city from the mafia.
Bungou Stray Dogs follows the protagonist Atsushi Nakajima, who can transform into a white tiger berserker under the moonlight. Interestingly, the series also features various poets and historical authors as modern young adults with various supernatural powers, including F. Scott Fitzgerald and Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
2/ SPYxFamily
1 Complete Season, Season 2 Release Date: October 2023
Spy x Family was an instant hit among fans of comedy and action anime. This charming anime combines Cold War intrigue, found family antics, comedy and more into one stylish package, and anime fans can't wait until later in 2023.
Season 1, which was divided into two courses, launched the story of the Forger house: the spy Westalis Loid, the assassin dandere Yor and their telepathic and clumsy adopted daughter Anya. By now, Anya's mission to befriend Damian Desmond is in desperate straits.
