The Chainsaw Man manga is full of vicious and powerful characters who take no prisoners. The Chainsaw Man anime promises to deliver serious blood, gore, action, tragedy and humor in its first season, and manga fans can't wait to see their favorite characters and their best animated battles for the very first time. That's where the protagonist Denji and his partner Power come in. They both learn that they are just two fish in a sea of unique demons, most of which mimic the worst fears of humanity. Some of these powerful enemies were also Denji's best friends. Now they want him dead.

5/ Power
The secondary character Power is an aggressive, rude and self-centered demon with two sharp horns on her head and a mouth with sharp teeth, which makes it clear that she is no ordinary girl. Power sometimes goes over her head, but she makes up for it with pure enthusiasm.
Power is Denji's reluctant new partner in the never-ending battle against the demons. In serious combat, Power can use her own blood to form weapons, a giant hammer being one of her favorites, along with a deadly spear. In an emergency, Power can also generate thousands of swords and spears of blood.
4/ Aki Hayakawa

Aki Hayakawa is the main character's "cool genius" rival, being almost Sasuke Uchiha or Uryu Ishida from Chainsaw Man . Aki is an experienced demon hunter who absolutely despises these creatures, although he is also under contract with several of them to have more options in battle.
For starters, Aki is an expert swordsman, and in difficult situations he can call upon the cursed devil and annihilate any enemy for a high price. His other options include a huge fox-like devil, which can be summoned to perform bite attacks, and even martial arts.
3/ Denji aka Chainsaw Man
The protagonist himself, Denji , has the power of Pochita, the chainsaw devil, in his body, giving him the ability to become Chainsaw Man. With three chainsaw blades at his disposal, Denji can shred any demon that comes too close. He also heals himself by consuming blood, giving him serious durability.
Denji is somewhat hindered by his lack of experience and training, but he can make up for this with absolute tenacity and enthusiasm, which he often does as a hard-working anti-hero. In extreme cases, he can simply outlast a stronger enemy by drinking the enemy's blood while tearing them apart.
2/ Kishibe
Kishibe is a long-time demon hunter who is described as one of the best in the business, and he can easily take on most demons or demons in mortal combat. Kishibe is contracted with a few demons, including the claw, knife and needle demons, and he also has his own weapons.
Kishibe apparently has the superhuman speed to outrun any demon and evade their attacks, and he also has overwhelming strength and durability. Finally, Kishibe is an expert with knives and martial arts, able to break Power's blood weapons with his bare hands.
1/ Makima

For a moment, Denji thought that the soft-spoken, vaguely threatening Makima was on his side, and he even had a crush on her. However, Makima is much more powerful than Denji expected, a devil with fearsome abilities in battle. She can even slaughter Power with a casual gesture with her devastating force-based attacks.
Makima can also use her dominance ability to force other beings, human or otherwise, to do what she wants. At close range, Makima can use a sword to easily decapitate several fighters in the blink of an eye.
Special Mention: Quanxi
The Chinese woman known only as Quanxi is a terrifying foe for any human, demon, or devil opponent to face. She is about on par with the veteran Kishibe, offering extreme speed, strength, reflexes, and durability by any human standards, and she rarely fights alone either. Quanxi has a small harem of warriors of her own.
Quanxi's devil-based hybrid powers allow her to fire many arrows at her targets from a distance, and up close, she can use multiple swords to slaughter a whole host of lesser enemies with amazing speed. In fact, Quanxi's sheer strength tends to bend and break these swords.
