Appearance

Hantengu

Hantengu is a small, frail demon with black hair and a very thin, skeletal body, covered with reddish veins and wrinkles; he is usually seen crouching. Its most striking feature is a large bump on top of its head, accompanied by two curved horns. His face is thin with a pointed chin and he constantly has an expression of terror and fear, with a prominent eyebrow arch without eyebrows. His eyes are narrow and often seem to crinkle, with no visible pupils.

Hantengu also has the kanji for "fear" engraved on his tongue. He has shoulder-length wavy dark hair with a low hairline, growing only to the back of his head and ears, which are themselves sharper and longer than normal humans. His fingernails are long but not pointed like most other demons, and retain their natural square shape.

Hantengu wears a dark kimono split down the middle, the right half covered with a pattern of flowers and lines, the left half dark and devoid of detail. He also wears black hakama pants and a pair of Zōri.

He has two prominent, curved horns on his forehead and markings under his eyes that give his face a cracked appearance.

Sekido has pointed ears and clawed nails on each finger. He is usually seen wearing an irritated or enraged expression on his face. He also has the kanji for "anger" engraved on his tongue.

Sekido wears the same kimono as Hantengu, the right half covered with a pattern of flowers and lines, the left half dark and devoid of detail. He also wears dark Hakama pants, a traditional Japanese garment, and a pair of Zōri. Sekido is always seen wearing a Khakkhara (しゃくじょう, Shakujō).

Karaku

Karaku (からく, Karaku, literally meaning Relaxation) appears as a rather tall demon, possessing a muscular build, medium-length hair, with narrow, deep green eyes with the kanji of "Upper Moon" (じょうげん, Jōgen) and "Four" (し, Shi) engraved on them. He has two prominent curved horns on his forehead and cracked markings under his eyes, similar to Sekido.

Karaku also has the kanji for "relaxation" engraved on his tongue. He has pointed ears and square clawed nails on each finger, like Sekido. He is usually seen wearing a relaxed expression on his face.

Karaku wears nothing but hakama pants, a pair of zōri and two belt-like accessories on both shoulders. He is always seen wearing a maple leaf-shaped Uchiwa (うちわ, Uchiwa).

Aizetsu

Aizetsu (あいぜつ, Aizetsu, literally meaning Sorrow) is a demon with a slimmer but still muscular build, medium-length hair, with narrow, deep blue eyes with the kanji of "Top Rank" (じょうげん, Jōgen) and "Four" (し, Shi) engraved on them. He has two prominent curved horns on his forehead and cracked markings under his eyes.

Aizetsu also has the kanji for "sorrow" engraved in his tongue. As a demon, he has pointed ears and clawed nails on each finger. He is usually seen wearing a downcast expression on his face.

Aizetsu wears a black kimono with white lines running through various areas of the garment and rope-like accessories tied around his shoulders. He also wears hakama pants and a pair of zōri. He is always seen wearing a Jūmonji Yari (じゅうもんじやり, Jūmonji Yari).

Urogi

Urogi (うろぎ, Urogi, literally meaning Joy) is quite tall and muscular, has long wavy hair that extends past his shoulders, with narrow golden eyes with the kanji of "Top Rank" (じょうげん, Jōgen) and "Four" (し, Shi) engraved on them. He has two prominent curved horns on his forehead and cracked markings under his eyes.

Urogi also has the kanji for "joy" engraved on his tongue. As a demon, Urogi has pointed ears and sharp nails on each finger. He is usually seen with a delighted expression on his face, similar to Karaku.

Unlike the rest of Hantengu's humanoid manifestations, Urogi has an avian physiology, possessing two large wings on his back and raptor legs armed with sharp talons that replace his hands and feet. Urogi wears only hakama pants tied together by a chain of large round beads and a pair of zōri.

Zohakuten

Zohakuten (ぞうはくてん, Zōhakuten, literally meaning Hatred) is a muscular demon, small in stature and has short hair that stands up at different angles around his head and narrow orange eyes with the kanji of "Top Rank" (じょうげん, Jōgen) and "Four" (し, Shi) engraved on them. He is usually seen sporting a scowl on his face, similar to Sekido. Zohakuten's clothing appears to be a combination of Sekido, Karaku, Aizetsu and Urogi's. He wears black hakama pants covered with a piece of fabric closely resembling Sekido's kimono and fastened with a long white fabric strap. He also wears long sleeves that resemble the Aizetsu kimono. Finally, he dons a gold-colored armor plate that covers only his chest. Zohakuten has five interconnected drums floating behind his back, each with the kanji for "hate" displayed on it. He also wears a bone accessory on each hand.

Urami

Urami (うらみ, Urami, literally meaning Resentment) is identical in appearance to Hantengu, except that he is much taller, towering over Tanjiro and Genya, and instead of "fear", Urami has the kanji for "resentment" engraved on his tongue. Unlike Hantengu, he wears more of an exasperated, angry expression on his face instead of one full of terror and fear.

Personality

Hantengu

Hantengu is characterized by extreme cowardice and restlessness. He's easily frightened by what's going on in his environment, displaying traits of paranoia, fear and delusion. He's always screaming with fear, even over the most insignificant things, such as the number of years since the last meeting of the Higher Moons, which is 113 years. What's more, at that meeting, Hantengu spent most of the situation screaming and cowering, frightened by everything around him. This extreme paranoia is particularly evident in the fact that he always chooses to crawl instead of walking straight. Even in battle, Hantengu has shown himself to be extremely cowardly, crying when he was slashed by Muichiro Tokito and when he hid from the demon slayers.

Hantengu also seems to believe that he is totally innocent, despite the clear evidence of his many crimes as a human. He has a habit of blaming everything that isn't him, even proclaiming at one point that his hands were guilty, but not him as such. Even when he was a demon, killing and eating dozens of innocents, he insisted on believing himself innocent.

Hantengu & his 4 forms in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3, explained

Sekido

Sekido is the personification of Hantengu's anger. As such, this clone presented himself as being in a constant state of anger, irritation and hatred, even towards his fellow clones, which could be seen when he forcibly absorbed them against their will to form Zohakuten. He seemed to be the most dominant of Hantengu's clones and the leader of this group. For it was he who gave the orders to the other clones when they fought Tanjiro, Nezuko and the others.

Karaku

Karaku was probably the most relaxed and laid-back of the Hantengu clones. All the time he fought Genya Shinazugawa, Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, he was constantly congratulating them and, instead of taking the fight seriously, he treated it as a simple game, seeming to be interested only in the new experiences he gained from it. This was evident when he gleefully expressed his interest in the new sensation of being shot by Genya, adding that it was the first time he'd been injured in this way. This was demonstrated once again during his fight with Nezuko, at one point instead of finishing her off, he teased her and decided to play with her, despite the fact that he could overpower her at any moment. This behavior easily annoyed his fellow clones, especially Sekido, who constantly criticized him for taking so long in battle.

Aizetsu

Aizestu is portrayed as depressed, sour and pessimistic. Of all the Hantengu clones, Aizetsu has shown himself to be the calmest and most collected of the five, as when instead of wasting his time on diversions like Urogi and Karaku, or immediately getting agitated and angry over anything Sekido, Aizetsu calmly analyzes his opponents and thinks through his strategy, his opponents' abilities and weaknesses before attacking.

Urogi

Urogi is the most jovial and giddy of the Hantengu clones. Like Karaku, he seems to regard the whole battle against the demon slayers as a game or a source of entertainment. This can be seen when he compliments Tanjiro on his intelligence in guessing that none of the five clones were the "real" body, and constantly exclaims when his fight against Tanjiro was fun.

Zohakuten

Zohakuten is Sekido's evolved form after he absorbed the other clones. He displays the same character traits as Sekido, as he too was easily irritated and held a grudge and hatred towards his enemies, calling them "evil" for bullying his "weak and innocent" person. Like Sekido, he was also very rude, as can be seen when he constantly insulted his opponents and referred to Mitsuri as a prostitute, constantly calling her various degrading names in his thoughts. He also seems to have a strong sense of loyalty to Muzan, as when he tells Mitsuri that he only listens to and follows orders from one man in the whole world.

Zohakuten proved to be the most intelligent and perceptive of all the clones, with the exception of Sekido, as when he easily analyzed why Mitsuri Kanroji had survived his powerful attacks and how she had managed to discover the true source of his strength.

Urami

Urami is the last of Hantengu's clones, as well as his last attempt at survival. He was just as hypocritical and delusional as Zohakuten and Hantengu, angrily telling Tanjiro not to bully or hurt him because he's "weak and innocent". He angrily asked Tanjiro why he couldn't "see" his innocence; and as his name suggests, he embodies the resentment of Hantengu, who was punished and persecuted for crimes of which he was "innocent".

History

Past

When he was still human, Hantengu was known for committing many heinous crimes. Robbing many innocent people and murdering them in various towns and villages while claiming that he was innocent and that it was not he who had committed these crimes. He blamed his "Hands" for his actions, implying that he was also mentally unstable and possibly delusional due to his claims.

Eventually, he was captured by a high-ranking magistrate and sentenced to death by beheading, despite his outrageous claims of innocence, which were then silenced by threats to cut off his "sinful" hands. While imprisoned and awaiting execution, he was approached by Muzan Kibutsuji, who offered to "help" him after taking pity on his situation. Muzan proceeded to give him some of his blood, transforming him into a demon. After his transformation, he escaped from prison and silenced the magistrate who had sentenced him to death. However, with his last breath, the magistrate told him that killing and silencing him didn't matter, because in the end his past sins and actions would be punished in the future, no matter what he had done.

Arc Quartier des Plaisirs

Having been summoned to the meeting of the Higher Ranks, Hantengu corrects his colleague, Gyokko, on the number of years since their last meeting: 113 years ago, a number that frightens Hantengu. When Akaza strikes Doma, destroying the latter's jaw, Hantengu cries out in fear and later bows timidly to the arrival of Muzan Kibutsuji. He listened as his leader revealed Gyutaro's death and berated everyone present for their uselessness, forcing the Senior Rank to ask forgiveness. Hantengu then quickly acknowledged Muzan's order for him and Gyokko to head for an unknown location once the latter confirmed his new advance.

Later, Akasa viciously destroyed the top of Doma's head, only for the former to have his hand chopped off by Kokushibo, causing Hantengu to tremble with fear and apprehension, even letting out a high-pitched scream. He and Gyokko were then transported to their destination by the demon Biwa.

Arc Village des Forgerons

In the blacksmiths' village, Hantengu crawled onto the roof of a building, eager to fulfill his mission to avoid Muzan's wrath. He encountered Tanjiro and Muichiro Tokito shortly afterwards, quickly avoiding an attack from the latter. He dodged a follow-up attack from Tanjiro, only to be hit by Nezuko. His head was then severed by another Muichiro attack, causing him to regenerate into two different demons: Sekido and Karaku. As Muichiro and Tanjiro attempted to attack these newcomers, Karaku blew Muichiro away with a single wave of his uchiwa fan. The two then confronted Tanjiro and Nezuko, Sekido then attacking Tanjiro with a powerful electric current from his khakkhara staff. Both failed to notice that Genya was approaching them from behind with a gun.

Genya's shot was accurate, decapitating Sekido, but it didn't have the same effect on Karaku, much to the latter's amusement. The young Demon Slayer continued with his sword, but the two demons then split into four. One of the new demons, a winged monster named Urogi, grabbed Tanjiro by the leg and flew off with him, while the other, Aizetsu, impaled Genya with a Jūmonji yari. The former congratulated Tanjiro on defining his strategy, while the latter commented on Genya's weakness. Tanjiro urged Nezuko to help Genya, prompting his captor to reprimand him for doing so,before firing a sonic blast at the Pourfendeur. Urogi was surprised to find that his opponent had torn off the leg holding him, a head then sprouting from the severed limb to fire the sonic blast at a shocked Tanjiro.

Urogi's disembodied head was quickly split in two by Tanjiro, quickly transforming into two mouths that once again fired their sonic blast at him. However, their attack power had been reduced by the numerous splits, prompting Tanjiro to cut them once more. Urogi's main body appeared behind the young demon slayer, firing another sound, which was dodged, but followed by a vicious claw attack to Tanjiro's chest. Urogi then boasts of the sharpness of his claws, promising to cut the young demon slayer in half, only to discover that the latter has sliced his face in two. As Tanjiro prepares a new attack, Urogi once again tries to throw a sound wave at him, but his jaw is cut, the final blow coming. Elsewhere, Karaku holds back a transformed Nezuko, taunting her as Sekido asks him to finish her off. Aizetsu, the yari-wielding Hantengu, offers to finish her off, but discovers he can't pull his weapon away from Genya, who promptly cuts Aizetsu's head to pieces.

Sekido reprimands Aizetsu for this, the yari-wielding Hantengu then draws his weapon and slashes Genya across the chest. Regenerating his head, Aizetsu reproaches his opponent for not dying immediately, then notices that Genya has started praying. Sekido orders Aizetsu to crush the scarred Demon Slayer's head, sending the yari flying at Genya's head. The weapon only hit the ground, and the higher-ranking opponent appeared behind him, swinging his sword at Aizetsu's head. This ambush was foiled by a discharge of electricity from Sekido, who was shot by his very resistant opponent, much to his frustration. Aizetsu then swings his yari, crushing Genya against a wall. Karaku comments that his allies are having fun and tells Nezuko that he's done with her, driving a foot into her chest.

8 Fakta Hantengu Kimetsu no Yaiba, Iblis Bulan Atas Empat

Karaku then asks Sekido to stab and electrocute her until she stops moving, snatching one of Nezuko's hands away after his speech. She responds with a sudden counter-attack, almost decapitating Karaku and splattering him with her blood. Igniting him with her demon abilities, she then rips off the hand holding his uchiwa fan and the leg in his chest. As Sekido demands to know what Karaku was doing, Nezuko waves the torn arm and fan at him, sending him flying. She tries to do the same to Sekido, who foils her attempt by stabbing her in the neck with the blunt end of his stick and electrocuting her. Elsewhere, Urogi continues to battle Tanjiro, managing to land a blow while avoiding his opponent's, and circles around for another attempt. Aizetsu continues to face Genya, who prays once more, not knowing how he is still alive and wondering what he is. The Demon Slayer introduces himself, the name of the man who would kill Aizetsu in his place.

As Urogi prepares to launch his next attack, he is stabbed by Tanjiro in the mouth, after going through his knee, sending them both crashing into the building where Nezuko and Genya are fighting. Sekido, still electrocuting Nezuko, demands to know what Karaku and Urogi are doing, and conjures up a stick of khakkhara in his palm. He throws the weapon at Tanjiro, who blocks it with Urogi's foot. Sekido compliments Tanjiro's instincts, as the electricity cannot be transferred through his own cells and his tongue is cut in two. As his opponent releases Nezuko from his other khakkhara, Sekido attacks the young man from behind, tackling him to the ground. His attack is stopped by Nezuko, who ignites Sekido with his blood technique. Just then, Karaku reappears, using his fan to demolish part of the building in which his enemies are fighting, putting them both out of action. He, Sekido and Urogi then prepare to finish off the duo.

However, their would-be victims quickly recover, only to be knocked unconscious again by Sekido's discharge of electricity. Urogi approaches to attack them, but his attempt is dodged. As the two flee, Sekido reprimands Karaku for his slowness, asking him to raze the whole building to the ground, which the demon quickly does. He then notices that the two have nowhere to hide. Seeing Tanjiro with a flaming blade, Urogi is not intimidated and charges at the swordsman as Sekido and Karaku look on. However, Sekido realizes that the boy's blade is identical to that of the swordsman from Muzan's memories, so much so that their faces seem to overlap. Tanjiro then unleashed Dance of the Fire God: Solar Halo Draconic Dance, inflicting severe wounds on each of the three Emotion Demons. A little further on, Genya had managed to severely wound Aizetsu, pinning him against a tree with his own yari and tearing his head off.

Each of the demons affected by Tanjiro's attack reacts differently: Urogi screaming in pain, Karaku panicking at his apparent lack of regeneration and Sekido berating the latter, declaring that they are still regenerating, but at a much slower rate. Sekido is the first to pull himself together, unleashing a burst of electricity on Tanjiro, Nezuko and Genya, who are in the process of finding Hantengu's fifth body. Tanjiro directs Genya to the location of the fifth Hantengu, with himself and Nezuko providing cover for their battered ally, with an immediate attack launched by Karaku, forcing the young man to cling to a nearby tree while Sekido prepares to attack once more. He is attacked by Nezuko, who is immediately pierced by a recovered Aizetsu, whom Sekido also tries to attack, but whose khakkhara hand is sliced off by Tanjiro.

Sekido realizes that the boy is progressing as the battle goes on, as he had been told and as he had observed so far, noting that he experiences explosive growth in critical situations. Urogi's right wing is then severed by Tanjiro and Aizetsu is seized by Nezuko with both hands and feet, then set ablaze. Seeing this, Sekido desperately tries to see what Karaku is doing. Urogi uses his uchiwa fan to crush Tanjiro to the ground and turns to attack one of the others, but his arm and fan are cut in half by the youngster's flaming counterattack. Furious, he tramples the youngster, who continues to give Genya pointers on how to find the fifth body of the Superior Rank. The two men finally succeed, the fifth Hantengu cowering at the sight of Genya. The scarred young man fires at the little emotion demon, to no effect, but the miniature Hantengu flees from him all the same. He was pursued by Genya, who brought his blade down on the Fear Demon's neck, but it shattered. Another shot produced a similar result, and Sekido attacked Genya from behind almost immediately afterwards.

Sekido is about to deliver the fatal blow, but his arm is severed by Tanjiro, allowing him to deliver only a minor blow. As Sekido is shaken by the attack, Aizetsu tries to attack Tanjiro from behind with a flurry of air blades. His attack is thwarted by Genya, who takes the brunt of the attack, allowing Tanjiro to land a blow with his flaming blade on the miniature Hantengu, who screams in agony. As the Fear Demon continues to scream, a sixth Hantengu appears behind Tanjiro, who continues to deliver his attack. However, the momentum he received from Nezuko's blood has run out, the blade being stopped by the miniature Hantengu's thick neck. Genya fires at the sixth Hantengu, which hits one of the drums on its body, summoning an amalgam of tree and dragon, which attacks Tanjiro and hurls him into the sky. Mitsuri arrives and grabs the boy, gently letting him rest while she battles the hate clone. The hate clone wraps its miniature copy in a protective blanket of branches. This new form turns out to be the result of Sekido's absorption of Karaku, Urogi and Aizetsu, who reacts with a strong glare when Tanjiro tells him to stop protecting his Fear counterpart. He asked him if he had a problem with what he was doing, calling the pair of Demon Slayers evil, as the mini Hantengu cowered and trembled in his wooden protection. He answered Tanjiro's question as to why he'd said they were evil by pointing out their attack on his smaller version, something he called "pure injustice" and something "only a savage would do". He remains impassive as Tanjiro points out his misdeeds, promising to cut off the Hate Demon's head.

Finally, Tanjiro manages to decapitate him using Hinokami Kagura: Valse. However, the head Tanjiro cut off is not the real Hantengu, as evidenced by Hantengu's headless body, which continues to flee. As the sun is about to rise, Tanjiro finally decides to continue the pursuit after Nezuko's sacrifice. Tanjiro eventually locates Hatengu's real body inside the heart of the headless Hantengu. Hantengu finally dies after being slashed by the boy. However, the demon has managed to inform Muzan of Nezuko's immunity to sunlight.

Relations

Muzan Kibutsuji

Hantengu, like all members of the Twelve Demonic Moons, is faithfully loyal to Muzan and follows his every command and request without question, despite Muzan's habitual humiliating and condescending attitude towards him.

However, despite this, Hantengu is shown to be truly loyal to him in his heart of hearts due to his loyalty extending even to his five emotional clones, as seen where Zohakuten declared during his battle against Mitsuri Kanroji that "only one person can give orders to me in this world" and Sekido, Urogi, Karaku and Aizetsu all agree that he is someone to whom they are loyal and to whom they show the utmost respect despite their very different personalities and volatile relationship.

The source of this deep respect and loyalty lies in the fact that Muzan, from Hantengu's point of view, is the first person to "believe" in his innocence, as he saved Hantengu from being "falsely" executed by a "corrupt" magistrate by giving him the power to escape imprisonment by turning him into a demon.

This loyalty proved strong enough that, before dying, Hantengu's last act was to report to Muzan how Nezuko Kamado had successfully become the first demon to conquer the sun.

Muzan in turn turned out to be incredibly happy and pleased with Hantengu because he had managed to locate a demon capable of becoming immune to sunlight, making the Demon Lord explode with ecstatic joy at this discovery and even compliment Hantengu on his good work, a rarity due to Muzan's typical arrogant behavior towards the higher ranks and his mentality of considering them all expendable.

Twelve Demonic Moons

Hantengu is the holder of top rank 4 of the Upper Twelve Moons and, as such, is shown to have a sufficiently positive relationship with the rest of the top ranks to work effectively together when given tasks and assignments by Muzan.

However, due to Hantengu's overly fearful and submissive personality, it has been shown that during his typical meetings with his fellow higher ranks, Hantengu acts very scared and timid with his fellow demons, as seen during their meeting where he preferred to hide in the staircases and corners of the Infinite Dimensional Fortress rather than speak directly to any of them unless necessary.

Gyokko

Hantengu and Gyokko are shown to have a sufficiently positive relationship with each other that they can easily work together on missions without too much difficulty. We can see that Muzan trusts them enough to successfully complete a high-risk mission, such as l'élimination du village des forgerons de l'armée des pourfendeurs de démons.

Akaza

Hantengu, because of his easily frightened personality, is not particularly appreciated by his superior rank 3 because of Akaza's violent and confrontational personality, as can be seen where he was easily frightened by him and bowed his head in submission every time he raised his voice during his arguments with superior ranks 2 and 1 during the meeting.

Emotional Clones

Each of Hantengu's emotional clones has been shown to have varied relationships with each other, but to get along well enough to cooperate during battle, and all give Hantengu priority in battle and protect him from all threats due to the fact that he is their "core".

  • Sekido: Is one of the first two emotion clones to emerge from Hantengu, Sekido proves to be the leader of the emotion clones, as seen where he constantly barks orders at the other clones and angrily shouts at them whenever they ignore or fail to act on his orders. Sekido himself is constantly annoyed and irritated by the antics and personalities of his fellow emotional clones, especially Karaku and Urogi due to their more playful disposition in battle, and constantly yells at them to stop messing around and kill their opponents instead of playing with them. As seen during his forced transformation into Zohakuten, he has shown that Sekido doesn't really respect or care about the individual opinions of his fellow clones, as seen where he forcibly absorbed Urogi and Karaku and immediately absorbed Aizetsu despite his pleading not to.
  • Karaku: Is the second of the first two emotion clones to emerge from Hantengu and proves to be one of the two most playful. As seen during most of their battle with Nezuko, Tanjiro and Genya, Karaku is constantly playing with them for his own entertainment rather than trying to kill them. An attitude that quickly pisses off the angry Sekido, who constantly tells him to stop messing around during the battle. Because of their similar playful personalities, it seems that Karaku gets on best with Urogi out of the five emotional clones.
  • Urogi: Urogi is the third of the emotion clones to emerge and is shown to possess the same playful attitude and disposition as Karaku in battle, where he constantly plays with his opponents for his own amusement. Much closer to his fellow clone, Karaku, he is Sekido's second most hated clone, as he doesn't follow his orders either.
  • Hantengu: Hantengu is the first technical emotion clone to emerge from their original body and the main body that contains their "core". And as such, all the other emotion clones value him highly and actively protect him from damage during battle. Hantengu, in turn, relies heavily on the clones for his own protection.

Skills & Competencies

Clones Description

(せき Sekido)
One of Hantengu's first two offspring, Sekido, is the personification of Hantengu's anger.

Flesh manipulation: Sekido is able to distort his flesh and mold it into the shape of a Khakkhara staff (しゃくじょう Shakujō).

Absorption: When sufficiently pissed off and enraged, Sekido can absorb and assimilate other clones to become "Zohakuten".

Art of the Blood Demon
Lightning generation: Sekido's main ability is to summon extremely powerful lightning bolts and manipulate them at will.

These lightning attacks themselves are powerful enough to almost kill other demons, as seen with Nezuko, and are also capable of paralyzing demon slayers. However, Sekido cannot electrocute an object created from his own cells, as we saw when he failed to channel his lightning through Urogi's severed leg.
(らく Karaku)
One of Hantengu's first two clones, Karaku, is the embodiment of Hantengu's relaxation.

Flesh manipulation: Like the other clones, Karaku is able to manipulate his flesh, shaping it into a maple-leaf-shaped Uchiwa fan (うちわ Uchiwa). When Karaku's arm was torn off and separated from him by Nezuko, and then blown off by his own technique, Karaku showed that he could easily regenerate, and that he could also create a new fan from his flesh, similar to Sekido.

Art of the Blood Demon
Wind manipulation: Karaku's fan can generate powerful gusts that can easily level an entire building, almost crushing humans and demons alike. He leaves behind craters that take on the appearance of maple leaves.
(あいぜつ Aizetsu)
The third clone to come from Hantengu, Aizetsu is the personification of the latter's sadness.
Flesh manipulation: Aizetsu can also manipulate his flesh and model it into a Jūmonji Yari (やり Yari) spear.

Art of the Blood Demon
Spear manipulation: Aizetsu can extend and shrink his Jūmonji Yari spear at will. He uses this ability often in close combat, lengthening the reach of his spear when thrusting and slashing, enabling him to easily kill his opponents in ranged or medium-distance combat.
(うろ Urogi)
The fourth clone to emerge from Hantengu, Urogi is the embodiment of Hantengu's pleasure.

Flesh detachments: This clone is capable of creating several miniature clones of itself from its body parts if severed. The clone is capable of launching sonic screams, the drawback being that these clones possess less than a tenth of its original power, making it easy for even the weakest demon slayer to dodge its attacks.

Art of the Blood Demon
Bird-like physiology: Urogi takes on the appearance of a demon resembling a jubilant harpy with bird-like wings and talons. These talons are extremely sharp.

Sonic scream: Urogi has shown he can emit shrill screams from his mouth, which he uses as his main attack.
(ぞうはくてん Zohakuten)
Hantengu's most powerful clone, formed by Sekido's absorption of Karaku, Aizetsu and Urogi. Zohakuten embodies Hantengu's hatred.
Art of the Blood Demon
Wood manipulation: Zohakuten can manipulate wood from the surrounding flora and conjure wooden dragons to attack his opponents, striking the five drums attached to his back to control the dragons.

Combination of abilities: Zohakuten also has the power to use the abilities of the four clones he has absorbed through the dragon heads, so they are able to spit lightning and thunder from Sekido, emit sonic screams from Urogi, generate powerful wind attacks that leave behind gigantic craters of maple leaves like Karaku. And spit spear-like thrust attacks like Aizetsu.

(うら Urami)
Hantengu's last clone, Urami, who represents the personification of Hantengu's resentment.
