Although Satoru and Suguru never actually met on the battlefield, the psychological warfare between the two was as real as any physical attack could have been. The two special-grade sorcerers are incredibly powerful and even worked together as allies, but their philosophical differences created a rift in their relationship that would eventually lead to war.
The debate between Satoru's shamanic superiority and Gojo's attempts to protect humanity from evil is still a big part of Jujutsu Kaisen's plot today.

Gojo's battle with Hanami was so short that few even consider it a brawl. Yet the way Hanami attracted the best of the next generation of wizards before Gojo showed up to decimate the battlefield makes this fight worthy of recognition.
Hanami has been touted as the most enduring of all the special-quality cursed spirits accompanying Kenjaku in his diabolical plot, but the moment Gojo appears and reveals the power of his hollow purple cursed technique, Hanami scatters. When the most enduring of cursed spirits reappears on screen, they're missing an arm and badly injured by their fight with Satoru. To make it even more impressive, Gojo inflicts all this damage from a distance at which most wizards would have difficulty seeing their target.
4/ Gojo Vs Sukuna
The very first time the legend who is Satoru Gojo is introduced to Jujutsu Kaisen fans follows after Yuji Itadori invites Sukuna into his body by eating a cursed finger. When Yuji eats the finger, Sukuna momentarily reclaims his body before Yuji manages to force his consciousness to the surface.
When Satoru Gojo arrives, Yuji voluntarily gives Sukuna control of his body to demonstrate that he can control the curse living inside him. During this instance, Satoru makes a dazzling demonstration of his strength against the King of Curses that fans of the series will never forget.
3/ Faced with three cursed spirits of special quality and a cursed belly of death, Gojo always has the upper hand.
The last time manga readers saw Satoru Gojo in the panels written by Gege Akutami was during his battle with Hanami, Jogo, Choso and Mahito. Despite combining the power of three special-quality cursed spirits and a cursed womb, Satoru still manages to master the forces of evil until Kenjaku appears with a cursed object capable of choking off Gojo's seemingly endless supply of cursed energy.
During this fight, Hanami is defeated, Mahito's antics are over and Jogo is unable to launch a single attack on Satoru despite having deactivated his unlimited cursed technique. It's a pure demonstration of strength, proving that there's no one in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen who can defeat Satoru Gojo without the aid of cursed weapons/objects.
2/ Despite the absence of a single ounce of cursed energy, Toji proves to be the only man capable of challenging Satoru Gojo to combat.
When season 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime makes its debut, fans are in for a treat. If the anime follows the manga closely, Gojo's Past Arc will open Season 2 by pitting Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto against Toji Fushiguro in a battle of wits and strength that surpasses any battle that has been broadcast to date.
The way Toji plays with Satoru and Suguru for a few days before facing them on the field of Tokyo Jujutsu High School is captivating. Toji also introduces fans to the power of cursed weapons by having Satoru reinvent his cursed techniques in order to defeat a man without an ounce of cursed energy.
