⛩ In middle school, the vice captain is a disruptive student. He is constantly surrounded by other teenagers, his minions, and gets into fights on a very regular basis. But there is a rumor that a ninth grader from the year before has repeated a grade. Chifuyu, convinced that he is then a dreadful delinquent, starts looking for the famous Keisuke Baji. To his surprise, he sees a "model" student, who seems to be focused and attentive to his lessons. But the eighth grader recognizes that Baji is playing a role and is not a model student at all.One day while returning from class, Chifuyu is ambushed and a dozen students from another middle school start beating him. It is Baji, alone, who will save him. The two middle schoolers, just discovering that they are actually neighbors, become friends and Chifuyu joins the Tokyo Manjikai, becoming vice-captain of the division headed by Baji.
