⛩ Goldorak is a gigantic, heavily armed two-part alien war machine. The machine is parked in an undisclosed location at the Space Research Center. It leaves it, for its missions, by underground roads or its direct access, also secret. The veil of its origins is partially lifted in episode 2.
Presented as the first and only prototype of a new generation of war machines, it is supposed to surpass anything that came before. No idea of time and place is given about its construction before episode 49 where we learn that it was used to conquer Euphor. Its completion therefore predates that conflict.
Actarus managed to get hold of it under conditions unknown and escaped to Earth after destroying his pursuers with it. Goldorak was thus apparently designed as an offensive device, but eventually found himself in the role of defender of our planet. On Earth and in the French version only, Goldorak was perfected by Procyon and Actarus This is said in episode 8.
