⛩ Naruto managed to master this mode after defeating his dark side in front of the Truth Falls and separating Kyûbi's chakra from his will to make it his own, especially with the help of his mother. The Fourth Hokage used Kyubi's Chakra Mode soon after his arrival on the battlefield, followed by the other three Hokage. He mastered this technique because he took half of Kyubi's chakra with him, thanks to the Imprisonment of the Dead technique, before sealing the other half in Naruto. But this mode is not without risks: during the fight against Tobi and the bijû, Naruto ran out of chakra, and was even about to faint. Kurama, throughout the fight, felt more and more attachment towards his jinchûriki. So he offered Naruto to give him "free" chakra, without trying to take over his body. But the amount of chakra was not enough because Kurama could only give a small amount of chakra as long as he was held by the seal. So he and Naruto decided to mix their chakra, releasing Kurama from the seal and strengthening his bond with Naruto. From that moment Naruto's "Rikudô" form changed appearance and he was able to transform into an evolved form of the mode and execute the "Tailed Demon Orb".
