⛩ Joey Wheeler, called Katsuya Jonouchi in the Japanese version, is one of the main protagonists of Yu-Gi-Oh! DM.
At the beginning of the series, Joey appears rough and aggressive which annoys Yugi Muto a lot, but he will end up being best friends with the latter and Tristan Taylor. Although sometimes described as comical, he is essential to the plot and overall theme of the series. He is an avid duelist, who claims to fight duels to fight and help the people he loves. However, like Seto Kaiba, Joey is very fond of taking care of his younger sister, Serenity Wheeler and would do anything to make her happy. He seems to be very protective of his sister for whom he would be willing to sacrifice his own life to ensure her safety.
