⛩ Franky, was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of shipbreakers. He was also the first cyborg introduced in the series.
He was once called Cutty Flam until he discarded his real name and replaced it with his nickname at Icebarg's request that he hide his identity. Franky and his sidekicks were first introduced as antagonists for The Straw Hat Crew until circumstances forced them to become allies.
At the request of the Franky Family, Franky will join The Straw Hat Crew to fulfill his dream. He is the eighth member of The Straw Hat Crew and the seventh to join Luffy's crew. He is also the second member to have been a former enemy (the first being Nico Robin).
