⛩ Gogeta was born from the Metamoran fusion of Son Goku and Vegeta. The film reflects on one of Piccolo’s famous lines from volume 40, where he mentions that Vegeta would have refused to fuse with Son Goku due to the required fusion dance.
During the release of Movie 12, the manga was featuring chapters on Vegetto, the fusion born from the Potara earrings, leading to two different versions of the character appearing simultaneously.
Unlike Vegetto, who has a relatively longer screen time than Gogeta, Gogeta's personality is driven by the desire to quickly finish off Janemba. His moves are unpredictable and beautifully choreographed by director Yamauchi.
