⛩ Guts known as "The Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded vagabond who roams the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those he cares about.
Portrayed as a tall and muscular man, Guts stands 2 meters tall with short, spiky black hair. He is missing his left forearm and right eye due to an encounter with the Divine Hand. He is also covered from head to toe with scars from a life of battles, the most visible being a jagged scar on his nose received from a training match with his violent father, Gambino.
He also has a large horizontal scar across his chest, received during his encounter with Slan of the God Hand in the Qliphoth. After receiving the Berserker armor, Guts gets a small white streak in his hair, probably due to the stress caused by wearing the armor.
Guts' tendency to wear black clothing while hunting apostles has earned him the nickname "The Black Swordsman." Besides all this, Guts has a mark from the Eclipse on the back right side of his neck. This mark attracts demons and evil spirits to him at night.
