This Gogeta is the "canon" version of the character appearing in Movie 12: Dragon Ball Z - Resurrection. Like Vegetto, he is one of the most powerful characters in the entire Dragon Ball franchise.
Gotenks is the result of the fusion between Son Goten (the second son of Son Gokû and Chichi) and Trunks (son of Vegeta and Bulma). He only has the worst traits of Son Goten and Trunks, which makes him a selfish, rude, arrogant warrior with immense self-confidence.
